Racial slurs and the use of the N word were allowed in the Dolphins locker by blacks and whites alike, as reported by Cris Carter after talking to Phins players. Just keeps getting better and better

Why is no one bringing up what was said after Riley Cooper of the Eagles had his problems. One of the players on the Eagles (I think he was black) said that another player on the team (who I thought they said was white) would call him the N-word all the time, but that it was playing around.

I am not saying what Ritchie said was right, I am just pointing out what no one else seems to be pointing out....

Solomon Wilcox said the locker room belongs to the players always has and always will so it's up to the players to stop it if they do not want it but they all seemed to have no issue with it........stop posting what Cris Carter says.

From what I have read, Chris Carter said that in general it is allowed in NFL locker rooms. Not specifically the Dolphins. Carter was trying to justify players using it.

Unfortunately, the use of that word is common amongst young people. The use of that word is used in all locker rooms.

If the players in the locker room don't have a problem with it then its not an issue

But isn't there a way to use it that is not racist? Kinda like "whats up dude" I don't know, thats why im respectfully asking because even in the vid that he addressed Pouncey as ******, It doesn't seem as its in a bad way, more like whats up.

Im not sticking up for Incog, as some of this stuff is just foolish, but I am curious.

You mean another post was made out of context?

This is what im asking about in my post.

Yes, it is very sad young people use that word as a term of endearment.
As sad as it is, I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Maybe they should use an NFL approved racial slur like Redskins instead. :chuckle:

This is National news on an investigation of our team. I posted what was said, and who reported it. What is your problem?

OH NOES!! WHATEVER SHALL WE DO???

Jee, I wonder if Cris Carter or Keith Olbermann have a problem with the constant loop of rap songs played in every locker room across the freaking country that say the N word about 17 times on average?

Don't have an issue with you except Cris said all locker rooms not only the Fins.....I just have a distaste for Cris Carter.

Mike Shanahan uses that racial slur everyday and I have seen him yell(bully?) players on the sideline during games. Suspend him!

Exactly!

But that won't happen because the NFL supports the use of Redskins.
