yea he would be a great pick up if no lavar but how old is he:confused:
 
I dont follow any team but ours, which LB spot does he play, can he cover, can he blitz, he averages a whopping 1 sack a year.
 
he can cover and run stop well
if green bay used him he would have had more sacks
 
I dont think we really need him. We've got Spragan and Hodge as "solid but unspectacular" strongside linebacker depth.

Saban seems to want someone who can blitz.
 
Kind of on the small side compared to what Saban's looking for isn't he? Definetly a high motor guy though "like Zack".
 
I remember him when he was here playing for the buckeyes,pretty damn good LB was a real intense guy too. Think in the right scheme he could be more than solid. Will cost a lot less the LA, havent heard of any serious injuries could be a reasonable option. Dont get me wrong anytime you can get Pro Bowlers great, but in this Salary cap age you need hungry up and comers that arent going force you to have serious cap set backs in future years ie San Fran
