You beat me to it Nub:up: I was just thinking that this was the "welcome back to the 53-man roster Matt Roth" move. Given how NYJ relied so heavily on the running game to beat Oakland (and that the weather may make it a hard day for Sanchize:rolleyes2: to throw the ball) having a physical run-stuffer like Roth would make more sense for the Dolphins this week. If this is indeed the reason behind waiving Nalbone, I hope Roth decides to bring his A-game (and two VERY fresh legs) to whomp the Jests:hump:

Nalbone is a guy they would have liked to have waived before the season started but they didn't do it because they received intel that he would be claimed. I'm guessing they think that he won't be claimed now so they can go ahead and try and sneak him onto the practice squad. This isn't the end of his tenure in Miami. This is still just the beginning. He showed a few things.

For a team that runs 2 tight end sets, we sure have a low amount of tight ends on the roster.

If Fasano or Haynos gets injured early in the game, does that mean we lose the option of running 2 tight end sets?

Wow, thin at TE now. I'd like to see Turner at WR, and you'd think he could block a CB pretty well, but if Fasano or Haynos get injured... well I guess they could sub in an extra tackle for the wildcat?

He was put on IR dude. He is done for the year, even if he is healthy now.
