Name a coach who would be doing better than Saban with this team and explain why. And don't you dare say BB... he went 5-11 with a pro-bowl QB his first year.

Me....

I know what this team needs. I've lived and breathed Miami Dolphins football my entire life, and it's much more than just a hobby. I've been through the great Marino years, the up / down Jimmy and Dave years, and from my chair here, I can see exactly what this team is lacking....

To find out what it is, they'll have to hire me first....

PHINZ RULE!!!

I think Saban has done an average job so far. It's easy to say who would be doing better, but most of the guys would be doing equally as good as him right now. Right now most of the team is Wanny guys, once Saban gets his guys in I hope the team is much better. The core of the team right now, I don't think will be playing for the Phins when Saban is successful.

I still like Saban and 100% support him but Romeo Crennel is doing better and has (imo) a lot less talent than Saban has had to work with.

Ask me again in three years and maybe I will give you another coaches name. But until then I am going to sit back and see what Saban can do, my answer.......NO-ONE.

Here's something interesting to think about.....is Romeo Crennel trying to instill his system and find the right players for it, or is he trying to devise a system that best utilizes the talent that he has? I honestly don't know. What I do know is he has talked a lot about changing the attitude in the lockerroom about winning, and the players love him. Considering how bad the Browns were last year, and looking at their record this year, I think he's doing a pretty good job.

And I am not insinuating that Crennel is a better coach than Saban. I am just wondering about his methods.

I would have loved to see Dan Reeves but Saban does have the job so its all on him to turn this ship around.

I would have liked Charlie Weis to have been the choice for head coach but he went to ND instead, anyhow I have no problems with Nick Saban.

I think Weis could have done a decent job because he would not allow the "Ferret" anywhere near our training facility and would have made getting a good QB a priority.
