Omar put this name out there, and I actually agree with him. First and foremost, if Bowles stays with us I think hell stay as Assistant HC/DB coach. Now again, SOME PEOPLE PREFER to work just as position coaches rather than be coordinators. See Winston Moss, or also 2 of the best OL coaches in recent memory, Hudson Houck and Alex Gibbs. So Bowles not being a DC may not be a big issue.

Anyways, Omar brought up the name of Green Bay DL coach Mike Trgovac as a potential DC as BOTH Philbin and McCoy have worked with him. Trgovac was the Carolina DC from 2003-08 (was the DL coach in 02, so he and McCoy spent 7 seasons on the same staff) and he actually TURNED DOWN an extension with Carolina after the 08 season as he wanted to learn the 3-4 defense so he went to Green Bay to learn under Dom Capers.

I would like to see Eric Mangini get in the mix.

Depending on our next coach if we go to a 43 defence i would love to bring in Spags i live in Jersey my bro is huge Giants fan i watch most of there games. When he was there he had the horses his blitzes were sick and he did a great job against the Pats twice that year. If we get another pass rusher this guy can do wonders for us i am sure of that. In St Louis he dident have nobody to cover on the back end here he will he will be good for our team.

Kevin Greene for me.

i would love him so much if he were, i could see him headbutting his players on the sidelines, good play headbutt, the man is crazy

I would LOVE Spags to be "The Guy". I think the team make-up is already much to his liking. He LOVES to platoon those defensive lineman, something the Gints still do. Love's athletic Linebackers, something we have, and loves to rush and play man in the secondary.
