Name one player whoo impressed you tonight.

i was very pissed off at gordon. 1) he didnt run the ball well at all and 2) he didnt pick up the blitzes well. If any one watched that 40 yard pass gus threw he had to throw off a defender. that man was supposed to be gordons and gordon didnt he try to touch him. id rather keep morris and J martin to keep in there

For me it was Aj Feeley.

He had good zip on ball and accurate. Derruis should of made that catch. I believe we would of scored on our first drive.

Being able to sit and watch Marino clips for the past week has really made me not like AJ even more. One thing that Marino was great as was moving in the pocket, he didnt have to get the best pass protection because he was good at avoiding the sack. AJ just doesn't move at all, it drives me crazy.

Kyle Orton was who I was impressed with the most, for all the people out there that said he was overrated and blah blah blah. I realize he was going against our 3rd team but his passes were all right on the money. We should have never passed on this guy.

On the Fins I was most impressed with Diamond, he played a good game for being somebody we would have never thought. Hopefully that will put Lee out with the birds and him in. Also good job Gus, hope you can do it on the 1st team next week.

Welker and Frerotte played well. Frerottte showed poise in the pocket and he was willing to side step defensive lineman to make some throws.

I think Feeley's pocket presence was bad. He was almost nimble, any sort of pressure threw off his composure. That might be expected when it's the preseason and the first string Bears defense is blitzing like crazy. The o-line did well for the first few drives, after that one of the tailbacks missed picking up a couple of blitzes. Feeley ended up paying the price.

If you ask me, you want a quarterback whose going to stand in the pocket until the last second. You want someone whose tough. Feeley didn't help himself today by limping to the sidelines after losing composure on every blitz.

Agree 100%

1) Gus looked great
2) All our WR's looked dangerous - especially Gilmore who is fast and silky smooth
3) Bell was flying to the ball in the first half

i didnt see the game, but form what i heard and read, he had the type of game that showed why i think he should start.

berlin's numbers look good... but he was playing with the waterboys and cheerleaders by that point.

wat was wright doin on defense? he looked like he was blocking the oline, he's looks lazy... gilmore deserves some more time on the field.

howard is garbage

Anthony Alabi, Michael Bradley, Lorenzo Diamond and Brock Berlin.

All 4 QB's, the improved pass protection from the OL, Chambers, Boston and FB Rader.

our pass rotection has improved but our run protection is shocking. all this hyp about our RBs and people saying ricky will get 1000+ yards this year has gone now because ricky didnt even get 10 yards from 6 carries

IMO the rushing attack is in no danger of not being there. There is a huge difference between rushing duringt he pre-season and during the reg-season. #1 the game plan, and the fact that the OL be blocking with their scheme, not just straight up man blocking.

But the biggest reason to me is we are just too stacked as far as HB's go.

Ditto for all. Boston showed what he will be bringing all year long with the one pass he caught behind the LOS and turned it into a powerful 8 yard pickup. He is talented.

AJ has a very strong arm. I think he needs to take a little zip off the short passes though. Gus impressed me somewhat. Especially when he avoided the safety and connected downfield.

Gilmore was impressive. As of course was Chambers.

Donald Lee has to go. This guy has ashphalt hands.

Oh that new punter impressed me. He got nice hang time on the ball. I think he will take Turk's job.

I loved that spin move Boston made immediately after his first catch. Dude just got juked on that one. Showed some good quickness and explosiveness

On one play Roth flushed Hutchinson out of the pocket, then Hutchinson tried to make something happen and ran to the other side of the field. There, he ran into a determined Matt Roth who sacked him anyway.
