Name the guys that people wanted in the worst way and got cut over the years.

Every year when the final cuts come I laugh at some of the names I see because they were the names I heard on this board EVERY day and how dopey our coaches were for not drafting the guy or signing them. Here are a few:
P.K. Sam-people were jumping off bridges that we didn't get this guy..vowed it would come back to haunt us
Adrian McPhereson-The QB of the future
Omar Jacobs-QB of the future
Ben Wilkerson-we blew this one
Jabaar Gaffney-could step in and be our No1
Just a few names to start it out...just doing it for laughs...but it is pretty funny..I hope I never have to hear the name PK Sam again...lol

I am waiting for the time when Sapp wears out his welcome in the Bay area and there is movement on this site for Warren to come home.

Fred Russell (though I thought he earned a roster spot for us that year, but whatcha gonna do?)

Last year I really wanted Khalif Barnes, but we took Roth (I like Roth, and liked the pick kind of, but I thought Barnes would be a stud LT, and it looks like I'm right)

From the Eddie Moore draft (guys I thought we'd get besides Bolden) Pisa Tiniasoma, Matt Stincomb, and Tyrone Calico. Calico has had some bad luck, and Sincomb has been given every chance in NO, but has been mediocre at best.

I wanted Matt Ware, he sucked in Philly and got cut.

umm... the 2004 draft had a lot of other ones. The only pick I liked from that draft was Poole (thought he was good value), but Carey, Hadnot, and Pope have become pretty good players. Hell I can give a list of who I wanted...

1.Vernon Carey (Vince Wilfork is who I wanted, he's been good, but not great. I actually wanted Chris Snee or Justin Smiley before Carey)
3.Traded pick (wanted Matt Ware, cut. Also wanted Matt Schaub)

4.Will Poole (wanted Poole, too bad about his injury)

5.Tony Bua (unlike most people who wanted PK Sam, I wanted Thomas Tapeh. He's been hurt last two years, but is now the starting FB for the Eagles, he'll be very good)

6.Rex Hadnot (wanted Clarence Moore, 6'6 WR, that had a decent rookie season, but has sucked since)

7.Tony Pape (wanted Bobby McCrary

7.Derrick Pope (wanted Bradley Van Pelt)
