Although, I have been a fin fan since 1986. I must say I was not proud to be a fin fan after that playoff lost to the Jaguars. I was so hype for that game, but it was over before it even started. Fred Taylor looked like a sure Hall of Famer in that game. Tony Boselli just man handled Jason Taylor all day. It hurt so bad that I wanted to cry, not to mention I stay in J-ville, I had to see and hear about this game for weeks. I never gave up on the phins though, still here through the mediocre Wanny years and now things are finally beginning to turn around!!

part of being a true fan is sticking with your team through the thick and the thin

omg... lol i was always proud of being a fan, who wouldn't be proud of being a fan of this great team?? i don't care if loose or win or whateva happens, im always 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% DOLFAN! YEAH BABY IT RUNS IN THE BLOOD...

The Cleveland game this year was brutal. It was as if the team had given up altogether on the season. Combine that with the reality that Sage Rosenfals was not our answer at QB despite waiting in the wings for years.

Of course the following week as we all know, things turned around completely. The beginning of our future if you will.

I think a better way of asking this question would have been: Most frustrating moment of being a Dolphin fan other then when ricky quit?

I was pretty ashamed of the way most fans started dogging Drew Brees and the Saints after we traded for Culpepper. Most guys wanted Brees desperately only a few days before.

A lot of people use the word "classless" when describing football personalities - Gus Ferotte, Brad Childress, Terry Bradshaw, etc. But in my opinion, "Class" starts at home. And not everyone on this board brings it all the time.

yeah, ppl should have gotten over Brees as soon as we got Daunte. Brees will spend a yr in NO and go somewhere else, while we get Culpepper. Leave it at that.

Don'y get me wrong, I am THRILLED to have cupulpepper!!, It just remimds me of the painful days filled with wanny's ineptitude.

:yeahthat: Also I agree with what Surf says too. The way we handle some situations as fans, doesn't exactly make me feel proud.

home opener against the Texans... we had all this new "veteran" leadership and we came put unprepared and un motivated. We got humiliated at home by a new franchise that was better prepared. It was at that moment I became a fixture on the Dump Dave bandwagon.
