With all the criticism being hurled at Sherman this year, I wanted to put his performance this year into perspective. I started thinking about all of the terrible offensive coordinators we have had in the past. Of course I started my list with Dan Henning, Kippy Brown, and Cam Cameron (failed because he tried the dual role). But my ultimate pick for absolute worst is Chris Foerster.

I remember that offseason clearly for Ricky's retirement because Wannstedt grinded him down with carries, then the promotion of Joel Collier to OC (only to see him resign because of exhaustion), the stupid trade to try to replace Ricky with some second stringer from the Rams (Gordon), and finally, Wanny naming Foerster as the offensive coordinator even though he had no experience ever calling plays.

Who makes your list as the worst?

I know that Dan Henning created the wildcat, but his last season with the Dolphins was absolutely awful. He's a very worthy nomination and he's going to be pretty hard to beat.

I think Brown was the worstan Olivadoti the worst DC

Ozzy rules!!

Statistically, the 06 Fins under Mike Mularkey scored the fewest points 260.
The next season with Cam Cameron leading the offense we scored 267.

I'd just as soon forget those 2 season and those Offensive co-coordinators.

I dont know whats worse. Continuing to run the Wildcrap when it is netting 2.5 YPA and callling a PA pass on 3rd and 20, or calling shotgun runs on every 3rd and short we see.

I forgot about Mularky.. God, 90% of our OC's have been garbage.

Kippy Brown. Foerster was overmatched but he didn't have the talent to work with that Brown did. Kippy's mandate from Jimmy was to take away Dan's ability to audible and dumb the offense down far enough that the morons we had on the team could understand it. Imagine for a minute if someone tried to do that to Peyton, to make him fit a dumb quarterback's role rather than allowing him to use his ability to make others better. It would be not just dumb, but an insult. And Brown has failed pretty much everywhere else he's been, too. Guess who the Assistant Head Coach of that 0-16 Detroit Lions was....

Mike Mularkey was TERRIBLE. He would honestly be my second choice. Absolutely terrible. I thought Scott Linehan was really good, so moving to Mularkey was such a letdown.

Mularkey reminded me a lot of Mike Sherman in that he would call the most inexplicable plays at the most critical times.
