With all the criticism being hurled at Sherman this year, I wanted to put his performance this year into perspective. I started thinking about all of the terrible offensive coordinators we have had in the past. Of course I started my list with Dan Henning, Kippy Brown, and Cam Cameron (failed because he tried the dual role). But my ultimate pick for absolute worst is Chris Foerster.
I remember that offseason clearly for Ricky's retirement because Wannstedt grinded him down with carries, then the promotion of Joel Collier to OC (only to see him resign because of exhaustion), the stupid trade to try to replace Ricky with some second stringer from the Rams (Gordon), and finally, Wanny naming Foerster as the offensive coordinator even though he had no experience ever calling plays.
Who makes your list as the worst?
