Lets just say all the coaches are available and possible candidates.
Who do you want?
Bellicheck
Gruden
Billick
Cowher
Vermiel
Tuna
Dungy
Reid
Who would you want, and how much do you think it would take?
The Buccaneers gave the Raiders 2 #1's and 2#2's for Gruden
The Pats gave the Jets 1 #1 for Bellicheck.
We can have any headcoach we want, but some guys come at a price.
I would personally want Jeff Fisher.
How much do you think it would cost us to get Jeff Fisher out of that 1 year extension he just signed?

I want no coach that comes at the price of draft picks. We can't spare 'em, and there are coaching options out there that are good enough available for free. I'd even take Jim L. Mora (as much as he frightens me) before I'd pay any team picks for a coach.

If nobody Miami has right now fits, I say wait until after the Super Bowl if necessary and hire Ron Rivera. We'd have to send Randy Mueller and the rest of the scouting department to watch the Senior Bowl alone, but getting the right coach is more important than scouting that game.

I want a guy who probably has no shot, Al Saunders

I'm starting to think that he has chosen not to be considered for a head coaching job. I can't believe that he'd get no invitations to interview over the past couple of years. Maybe he really hated his time atop the Chargers all those years ago.

i'd give up a first rounder for belli no questions asked

must be because he is as qualified as anyone and would surely have a head coaching if he wanted one

Out of Mora Jr, Gailey, and Shula I choose Shula.

If Schottenheimer becomes available he should be the only choice.

And out of all the coaches you have listed above I'd like the Tuna. I actually wanted Parcells before he who's name I will not utter but only as a hypothetical, not for the price of draft picks. Our future is looking dim enough as it is.

Wow. This statement baffles me. Jim Mora, IMO, is not a good coach, in any sense. I'd easily give up draft picks to net a great coach (e.g. Bill Bellichek).

As for who I want as HC, I say let Scott Pioli decide who our next coach will be.
