Nash and Stoudemire All-NBA 1st Team

NEW YORK (AP) -- Phoenix Suns guard Steve Nash was a unanimous selection to the All-NBA team and was joined by teammate Amare Stoudemire.

Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki, San Antonio forward Tim Duncan and Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, the league's leading scorer, rounded out the first team, announced Wednesday by the league.


Nash received 129 first-place votes and 645 total points from the panel of 129 media members.

Sweet...I love how the all NBA team, and the all Defensive team were made solely of Western conference players...

DIRK for MVP!

Even though he sucked it up in the first round of the playoffs...it's a regular season award, and he doesn't need another first rounder on his team (Nash/Amare) to do it.

Mind you, I'm not saying Nash isn't incredible, but Dirk is surrounded by much less.
