Nasty's Notes:

First off...
Ronnie Brown is offically a Fin and I've seen it with my own 2 eyes...:cpatch:

ok... I got to camp a little late. Practice was mostly on the far field so it was harder to see which sucks so I had to focus harder on either offense or defense to really see how things were going. I chose offense but did look at some of the defense... Sorry though if this report isnt in as much detail...

Quick Notes:
Seau, TJones, and Mario Edwards were wearing red today...
Gus started with first team and Feeley with second team...
Travis Daniels was out there but not in pads and did not practice.
Chester was on the bike... that fat @$$ looks so funny on a bike... There is no telling how deep that seat goes!

Now for individual analysis...
Hmmm... who should I start with??

Ronnie Brown - WOO HOO!!! He is here! He looked great today and got me extremely excited! He is quick and HUGE! Not like fat... he lookes jacked. Looked like he was in great shape which I was suprised about and wasnt sluggish at all. Both my brother and I were watching him through camp and neither of us saw him drop a pass. He also blocked very well and on one play he picked up Madison who was on a blitz (something all of our other RBs have been having trouble with). He has great explosion out of the backfield. Did I mention he lookes huge??? I am invisioning R&R to be like a nasty version of D&D (Dunn and Ducket)... Oh... and he lookes like a bad@$$ with the visor he had on! Definatly is still learning though and stayed and worked individually with a couple of coaches after practice before he met with the media.

Do you guys even care about anyone else?

O-Line: Hardest posistion to see from the far field because the line is very congested and you really only see one side of the line so I could only really see the left side...

Vernon Carey - Continues to impress... I was tellin my brother about him and told him to watch Carey go against JT and Carey backed me up. That play Carey dropped into pass blocking. JT tried to stunt inside and Carey knocked him to the ground. He didnt get beat at all today and showed alot of power when run blocking... He just plows ahead...

WRs:
Booker - Had a good practice from what I saw. Was very consistant.

Chambers - What would a Dolphins practice or game be without a sick catch from Chambers? He had a sick one-handed grab and didnt even use the other hand. Just grabbed it and pulled it in... I swear the boy uses Stick'Em...

Wes - OK... I have always been hesitant to believing that Wes can actually contribute as a WR. But he seems to be doing pretty well. It is mainly because the coaches are utilizing him in ways that he can be effective, not like a typical WR. Besides throwing to him in the flats as they have been lately, he was running some drag routes today which allow him to use his speed to get open in man coverage. He also had a nice completion on a deep post route.

QBs:
Gus - Looked like typical Gus. Made some good throws but over threw some receivers too. He does love the TEs though. Like I have said before... if Gus starts pick up McMike in fantasy, because his stats will rock...

Feeley - Looked like typical Feeley. Had some good throws and some bad ones... His actual throws in terms of accuracy and zip are better than Gus, but still has a tendencey to lock on to his receivers... However on one or two plays he did actually check down.

Sage - To the people that think Sage is better than Feeley... :rofl3::rofl3::rofl3: He is a good #3 QB but is not good enough to be the #2. He also has a tendency to lock onto his receivers. Made some solid throws but also made some dumb ones...

Defense:
Crowder - Still impressing. Seems to be getting more and more comfortable in the system everyday. Very quick and is always around the ball.

Shulters - Looks better. Originally he looked like he was struggleing a little with the system but seems know where he is supposed to be. Looks like he is doing less thinking and more reacting. A good sign...

Roth - Best practice I have seen out of him in the one on one drills. Dont get me wrong... he still has a long way to go but it is encouraging. We arnt gunna start to see much out of him until atleast midseason IMO.

Thats all I got... ask if you have any questions and I will try to answer...

One more thing... YEA RONNE BROWN!!! :D
