I honestly have no idea what is going on with this OLine . . . but does anybody see:

Long-Incognito-Ohara-Davis-Colombo before it is all said and done . . . with Carey cut and Pouncey on the bench? I dunno, Sparano is really developing a rep as "Tinker Tony". Still early, so we will see, but he has gotta go with the best 5 and stick with them throughout the preseason and Pouncey BETTER be starting week 1.
 
No way pouncey doesn't start. Sparano would be fired on the spot lol...i think Carey restructures seeing as he's a Miami guy...
I'd go Carey-pouncey-o'hara-incognito-long
Or if we don't get o'hara...
Carey-garner-pouncey-incognito-long
 
I think he should start. Will he? Only Sparano the mad scientist knows. He'll start at some point this season though, barring injury.
 
I think Garner starts. Long-Incongito-Pouncy-Garner-Carey. John Jerry rides the bench.
 
The best line-up would be:

LT: Long
LG: Garner
OC: Pouncey
RG: Jerry
RT: Carey

Incognito & Colombo ride the bench!

Pouncey benched lol.. and I still think carey will start at RT
 
i think Long - ingognito - o'hara - pouncey - cary is the best situation. but these guys seem dead set on playing pouncey at center and who knows what o'hara is doing or carey for that matter? has anyone heard about either of these guys? if both decline to be on the team our o-line is crap.
 
Pouncey at RG . . . mehhhhh, put that athletic guy on the left side. Let Ritchie maul some folks on the right.
 
to answer the op yes i can see garner starting somewhere...the stuff i saw from him in 09 was quite promising...but this guys coming off breaking his foot twice last year and hasn't played a meaningful game in over a full year...so its dicey to depend on him medically going forward...and you never know if a guy who was starting to really show well can regain that form after this long a hiatus

i like garner...have since 09...his loss last year imo was a big one...if he can stay healthy worst case i think he makes a heck of a depth swing player

oh one more thing...if he breaks that same foot again i think that will be the last we see of nate garner in pro football...he'll be forever labeled damaged goods and teams will just move on...3 times the same serious injury in less than 2 years...they'll look elsewhere
 
If O'Hara does not sign, Garner will start at RG. If O'Hara signs Pouncey starts at RG and Garner will be the first Lineman off the bench. That being said, I like Garner very much.

What the heck does that mean? Plaxico shot himself in the leg and hasn't played a game in 2 years but according to ESPN he's the missing piece to the Jets super bowl run.

And what's with all this O'Hara talk? Did I miss something? Was he signed? Last I read he left here yesterday without signing a contract.
 
i think garner starts at RT if vernon isn't on the team. if vernon stays with the team garner has to fend off incogs and jerry for one of the two guard spots, and i have no idea how that competition would shake out.
