"The division goes through us"

In reference to several threads and the direction of those threads, lets do a little comparison. Porter says the division goes through us, it is talking trash. Nathan Jones says it, no biggie.

Some people really need to check their egos and realize that maybe, just maybe they are a bit biased with some of the hate towards some of our players.

It is one thing to not like one of our players, but it is another thing to continue to hunt for material for you to bash them.

He has been nothing more than serviceable so far this year. He still gets burned more than acceptable in coverage.

Nothing personal man, but I must say, in the past few weeks, Jones has been in on a lot of pass breakups, and tackles. I think Nate has done a great job in the nickel and dime packages.

There's no comparison. Porter, Crowder & Ryan, etc. purposely construct inflammatory, derogatory sound bites and such. THAT'S trash talk. To simply remind people your team won the division last year regardless everyone sipping Patriot kool-aid is rather tame & diplomatic.

Because it is completely ignoring that fans and the media who write the stories are who take things out of context and just eat it up. There is little to no sense of objective reasoning.

How do people not look at that statement made by 2 different players and not think "wow, maybe I was the one who was making a big ****ing deal out of nothing."

When fans take things out of context and take nothing and make it into a huge deal, THEY are the ones who are talking trash not the player. But boy, is it easy just to blame the player and not the masses.

Because Will Allen is on Injured Reserve? And yes, Nate Jones has been playing rather good this season. The last 2 games he has been exceptional. All over the field breaking up passes and making open field tackles. Had a very nice pick in the Saints game.
