National media preview of Tua Time

I'm trying to keep my expectations in check. But i haven't been this excited to watch an individual Dolphins player in a very long time. It seems the national media is just as excited.

I want to see what the ratings are going to be for this game.

The reason why I am excited is not because of this game but the start of the 2021 season. If Tua constantly improves game by game, Miami can be very aggressive in free agency, while also building for the future w picks. Hou’s pick could be high and result in 2 #1’s in 2022 with a slide down.

I mean, we're 3-3. A bit early to be thinking about that when we can make the playoffs still. I'm still hoping we can win it all this year, regardless how long the odds are.

I agree, maybe I'm crazy, but looking at how mediocre the Bills have looked, not only am I expecting possible playoffs for Miami, but the chance of maybe taking the AFC east is also not out of the question...Until Tua's play tells us different.

That stuff only works if there isn't a drop off at QB with Tua in there now. Additionally, he needs to bring throws and plays into the game that Fitz didn't.

I think the most important thing is that Chan has the "O" prepared with a solid game plan, and calls good games.

Tua's going to make mistakes, but if there is solid support around him, we should still win some games.

Our "D" is playing well, and should continue to improve, though our interior line may take a beating against the Rams. In any case, I don't see them throwing on us easily, so if we can put up maybe 24, that should be enough.

I’m looking at this as more of a learning experience for Tua. I think that we will be aggressive in FA and we have a bunch of picks in the draft. We should definitely win the division next year.

If they could just stop constantly using QBR as if it means anything, it would be a good start....Its the only argument they have for Fitz and its trash... ESPN gon' ESPN....

Its been a long two weeks and the chatter has been pretty universal that we made a mistake. The only thing that is going to change that is coming out there and playing.
I'm not following the logic of most of these pundits.

Yes, it kind of sucked for Fitz, but Tua was going to play this year, one way, or another.

As it happened, our bye week was moved up, we found ourselves a very competitive 3-3, and our hand was forced.

These guys want to point out how Fitz was having a good year. Well, it hasn't been bad, as far as scoring, but other indicators like total yds, 3rd down conversions, YAC, etc haven't been stellar.

They want to say "why against a tough Rams defense?". My response is that while they do have a top defense, it isn't some complex, hard to diagnose scheme. They don't do a lot of disguising and obfuscation. They just line up, and say beat us.
