NBA Finals Simulation/Games

This is a thread in which im documenting the nba 2006 finals...Im going to be playing each game with the home team on superstar mode in NBA 2k6...Im pretty good at the game but Im trying to play the game as realistic as I can. Heres Game 1 for you guys...I'm going to play game 2 later tonight

just got done playing some nba 2k6 on superstar setting [hardest mode] quarters at 7 minutes, played heat vs mavericks...I played as mavericks

Start of the 4th it was Heat 70 Mavericks 59...thought I was going to get beat for sure. I ended up making a bunch of great defensive plays, and won the game 103-88...There top scorer Antoine Walker had 24 points...Dwyane Wade was shut down going 2-9 6 points [2 FGs, 2 freethrows] Dirk finished with 48 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 blocks. Thats your game one folks :wink: :wink: :wink:

You should've sim'ed the quarters at 12 minutes each instead of playing.

I just guarded him basically the whole game my self...But thats the first time i've ever shut wade down completely. After Im done playing the whole series im going to sim each game and give stats and see what happens then :wink: :wink: :wink:

Boy, that game really loves them some Nowitzki. In both games he scored more then Shaq and Wade combined. Yeah...that's not happening in the Finals.

The Heat in a million years would'nt give up 44 points in the 4th. The Heat is the best 4th quarter defensive team in the league. (lowest ppg, fg%) Then you have them giving up 36 in game 2. Very unrealistic.

Wade scoring only 6 points?

I will tell you this...if Payton, Toine, or J-Will score 20 in any game..that is a game the heat wins easy.

You gotta sim the games dude...your numbers are very unrealistic.

I understand using the teams in the Finals.
I sort of understand what you mean by sim (simulate it).

I don't understand how its ANY more telling than me and you typing, I shoot from 3, and you typing I block your shot, and doing this for 48 minutes. Doesn't mean jack. But I'm sure you ALL realize this...

Here's my results. ****ing Wade got hurt near the end of game 6 and missed game 7.

This was on Live 06 on superstar mode.

The NFL has some good game simulations where you can have the Miami Dolphins playing some of the great Steeler's teams....can't you do this on Madden as well? I think you have to give the overall edge in the NBA Finals to the Mavs. I think the Heat has to slow it down and play a very physical game to win it.

Really good game I pulled away in the 4th...but dirk just came out of nowhere, he hits a beautiful jump shot to get it to 81-84. Then i come down with wade, throw up a pass to shaq and he steals the ball from shaq then throws up a half court 3 to take it to overtime. Im sitting there like WHAT!!! When it was all said and done wade couldnt be denied in game 3

Series 2-1...in favor of mavericks
