The escalating noise level in arenas and the excessive time it takes to play the final minutes of a game are a growing concern for Stern.
He said the league is monitoring noise levels and fining teams for exceeding it.

I cant believe Stern is upset that the fans are loud at games. What is he gonna do instead having an anouncer have a librarian throw out whoever screams?

wow, time for stern to go. by time hes done with the game, its gonna be full of a bunch of white boys in business suits playing the game with a crowd like tennis.

Isn't that one of the main purpose of home court? That's just stupid it's an nba game people pay tons of money to get in i don't think fans want people telling them that they have to be quit.

what isn't the NBA upset about these days

Whats next he dosent like fans wearing team jersey's.

next up cheerleaders cant use pom poms because they are too shiny

stern doe snot understand that the fans make the league run. if we dont go to the game or buy the jersey THEY DONT MAKE MONEY

That quote never says specifically that he's talking about 'crowd' noise, it just said 'noise levels'. I know there've been a lot of complaints about how loud some of the music played over the loudspeakers during the games is.......including while the ball is in play.

The last sentence leads me to believe he isn't necessarily referring to crowd noise, since I don't see why the team would be fined for the crowd. Maybe T'ed up, but not "fined".

yea the last minute of a game is extremely slow. In close games, I dont mind the slow clock, because every second actually matters, but when a team is losing by like 7 or 8, and teams still foul to try to win when theres like 10 seconds left...thats just...SLOW. I can understand how they have a .1% chance of winning and still wanna take their chances, but it just gets boreing.

David Stern is a real *****. I'd like to hear Sir Charles' comments on him tonight!
