Please tell me that after investing in a new HD TV DLP, that on opening night in Pittsburgh the game will be televised in HD.

Last nights game was not for some reason, is NBC cheap?

It's bad enough I have to pay for the Superfan package to watch HD fins games!

Not sure but probably because last night's game was a local broadcast game, which usually do not get HD cameras. That's just how it is until HD becomes more prevalent.

Usually all primetime national broadcast games will be televised in HDTV. And I will say it is almost certain the opener will be in HDTV.

They're not going to run preseason games in HD, you'll be happy once the actual season starts..

I know last week's Hall Of Fame Game they televised was in HD.

THe game wasn't HD in Orlando because the WB carried.
However, I'd be MORE than surprised if the first game of the year wasn't in HD. Especially with the concerts, etc. I'd fully expect it to be HD.

Lastnights game was in HD for me (crystal clear picture of Cincy fans booing Jerome Bettis) :D

The opening game will be in HD.

you must have something set up incorrectly. i can see by the response everyone above me that it was in high def. i personally saw the game in high def on my tv.

i don't mean to speak down to you, but just because you have a high definition tv, it doesn't mean you see hd. you need the high def receiver to see it in hd. plus you need to have the receiver plugged into the hdmi connector on the tv.

have you seen other hd broadcasts on your tv?

i assume you were watching a hd channel, too. if not, you won't see the game in hd.

i hope that helps.
