Value and Depth both teams imo, did what they needed.

NE had many FA's after next year, and have potential 2nd rd picks piled for next year(supplemental...Wilfork), while adding depth for this year.

BUF addressed needs and got nice starters for this year.....

While I think White was taken way to early and we should have traded out of the first round, Smith was and imo gonna be the best of MIA's crop.

I can only keep my hope in the Tuna and such. The early rounds say that they believe in the front 7 on D. And that they believe in the WR corp.

The bills never got a tackle to fill Jason peters spot. Therefore, their draft sucked. They passed on Oher, then on Britton, then on Beatty. If you're a bills fan you can't be happy about that.

NEs was stacked though. THat's why their NE.

I'm not necessarily convinced that Levitre can't play tackle in the pros.

They are moving Langston Walker to LT, he was there all offseason and started the season at LT.

I have no idea where Wood and Levitre will play, could be OG or C for Wood and it could be OG ot RT for Levitre.

The Bills best lineman is probably Brad Butler, and he actually was drafted as a RT, so he may slide out there.

I dont think people really watch the Bills or even know Langston Walker played LT for us early last year and that when Jason Peters was pulled out of games for being tired, Walker moved over to LT.

If Buffalo would have picked a LT I would have been upset. Why trade Jason Peters and then draft another LT? The Bills feel they can replace Peters in house, they already did it last year with success.

That said, I don't like the Peters trade, but I have to get over it sometime. I am happy we got Eric Wood, so we will see what happens. Eric Wood seems like a Buffalo guy.

How can you type that they added depth?
Absolutely no one can predict at how good a draft pick will be ,, especially before the pick or picks goe through a t-c.

How did the billys draft starters?
Even if you surf their own m-b's the consensus is more negative than positive with most if not all of their picks!

I think that White was drafted too early but I also believe that the patsies had him on their radar and considering all the talent White has the Tuna just decided to reach just a bit to bring this guy into the fold...

Crazy is right.

Like the pats were looking to take the ball out of brady's hands to run the wildcat.

Only teams with mediocre qbs would consider it. Plenty of teams out there in that position. Pats aren't one of them.

Show me in my post where I typed that..
And you do not think that if bilicheat knew the tuna was interested in a player and his patsies had an interest and the picks wouldn't move up ahead of the phin to take him?
Yeah right!

Yeah and that team with a "mediocre" qb destroyed your patsies in their house..
Pretty bold comment coming from a fan who's qb is coming off an ACL injury that also included a post operative infection and is going to be able to pick up where he left off in 07...

Time will tell!

NE

With hobbs gone and oneil out there is 3 starting spot open
boddn, springs ,whilite ,wheatley, richardson and butler will be fighting for this. so no one knows what but springs is a short term and boden is on a 1yr deal.

Brace, when ever vince was down the run defence with mike wright fell down as he was not big enough. Now their is a true backup and also in can against bigger OL bb can go 4-3 with vince and brace in as defencsive tackle

OL - With both starting gaurds to be FA next year this is more of an insurance ad future in mind. I think RT has 3 players to compete.

WR- great pick as he will be starting in PUP or IR as he tore his MCL and is healing and might not be ready for trainig camp...next year he can replace one of the No 3

ILB - He will compete with alxander and rudd for the last spot.

Sorry. Didn't mean to put words in your mouth.

the Pats had no interest in White and would not have blown up their board to get ahead of the Fins if they did. If anything, they would have spread the rumor that they were doing so in an attempt to fool Tuna into moving up.

Gotta admit the wildcat took the pats by storm that day. how'd it work out in the 2nd matchup? How'd it work against any team by December?

I think Brady will be fine and leading the pats to double digit wins from opening day on. It's not like he suffered the injury in January, ala Carson Palmer. He's been rehabbing since the infection cleared last november. He's doing everything the other qb's are doing in the workouts, including 7 on 7 drills, working with Galloway & Lewis.

The defense as a whole will be better than the last few years, especially in the secondary. I don't expect the pats to HAVE to put 30pts on the board to win, but it's nice to know they'll be able to do it, even with O'Connell under center.

The entire division is basing their hopes & prayers on a slow or incomplete comeback by Brady. i can understand that. If i wasn't a pats fan, I'd be burning candles too!

If your patsies had no interest in P White then why did they hold a private work with him?
Yeah bilicheat fooling the Tuna,,,

If you follow Miami then you should know 2 things..
#1 their use of the wildcat was significantly less in the latter part of the season.
#2 they had significant injuries along the O-L even Satele hurt his shoulder but still continued to play..

I think Brady will be fine and leading the pats to double digit wins from opening day on. It's not like he suffered the injury in January, ala Carson Palmer. And for the most part brady probably will be okay but he is starting his 9th season and considering this is his first major injury to where he sat out the season and is in his 30's,, being able to come back 100% will be tough.. Brady has taken a pounding and that is just what I saw JT do to him...

Well it is interesting that you think the defense will be improved to the point that the patsie O will be in cruse mode.. Signing f-a's and drafting positions of need does not automatically improve a defense, offense, or a ST's unit..
This is April not December!
And I truly hope that O'Connell does get the chance to be able to prove your theory...:D

I wouldn't say that AFC East teams are hoping or praying that brady has problems and struggles to come back.. But then I am also sure that if he does struggle no one in the division will shed a tear..

teams can bring up to 20 players in for workouts. in most cases it's simply a smokescreen. Pats do sign some, but not more than 2 per year. I know they brought tate in this year.

The defense will be stronger, not necessarily because of this years draft class, but due to the free agents they picked up and the players they drafted last year. It took a good deal of confidence in their personnel to trade Hobbs. Hopefully that confidence is rewarded on the field.

Remind me to PM you next year so I can bet money on who gets drafted in the Top 10 using the knowledge you apparently have.
