Need a good laugh ?

I remember Sammie Smith from FSU I believe. Was having a decent year then he decides to fumble on the 1 yard line on a game winning drive. **** happens right ?
The prick did the same thing the next week. Shula got rid of him shortly there after.

We did get Louis Oliver in the first round of that same draft as well so it wasn't all bad.

The Ted Ginn draft reaction is still funny.

Yes it was. Everyone was pissed. Hey at least he won a game or two for us with his kickoff returns. Brady Quinn who everyone wanted was terrible and Ginn's still playing so.

Egnew should be on the list as well. He was a terrible 2nd round waste.

Well if you call 3.6 yards a carry decent but I quite remember that.
Too bad that Humphrey didnt work out he could have been a great NFL player

Egnew was drafted in third round but yes it was an awful pick.

Pat White, Michael Egnew , Patrick Turner, Phillip Merling, Dion Jordan, Will Davis and Danial Thomas
Ireland's legacy just keeps on giving crap

That's right D. We traded straight up with Denver where he was coming off a couple good seasons. They got Sammie.

Remember Overstreet ?

Yea third round not second

his first two seasons in Denver were very good but they would not redo his contract so he basically did not play for a year before he was traded to us.
At the end of the 92 season he tore up a hotel room and was found with cocaine and about a week later he was shot in thigh while drving.

If Humphrey had his head together we might have went to next level with a runningback of that caliber.

Honestly that 2010 draft was the draft that really hurts. Once we traded down, it wen't completely downhill.

Ireland was more concerned with getting his 2nd round pick that he lost for Brandon Marshall, over drafting a superstar player.

Round 1 you pass on 2 LEGIT needs/playmakers in Earl Thomas and Dez Bryant. Then you watch Dez fall into the 20's and you aren't savvy enough to trade back up to nab him? Nah his mom was a prostitute and his dad is a pimp.

So now you have a 2nd round pick. Big ol Gronk is on the board and what happens, you take Koa Misi. Once again, you pass on top potential for a guy whose ceiling you know will never lead him to be a great player.

So **** it, round 3 and UM fans know that is Jimmy Graham round. You've passed on Gresham, you've passed on Gronk . . . well we will make up for it here. Nah . . . we go John ****ing Jerry with the pick. The Saints take Graham in the rest is history. Parcells later comes out and says "If he were there in round 4 we would of taken him". Whatever dude.

Of course it continues because you take AJ Edds in round 4 with Geno Atkins being taken as the next pick. Maybe if you take a star player in round 1, you still can fill the DT role in round 4 instead of filling it in round 1 with another guy who you know is only going to be a "good" player at best in this league. Now I do understand we were running a 3-4 and maybe Geno doesn't fit that like he does a 4-3, but still, **** is ridiculous.

Round 5 we did hit on Reshad Jones, who has been a solid safety in this league. I guess even a squirrel eventually finds the nut. But imagine if we hit on Earl Thomas in round 1 and then come back with Jones in round 5.

2010 was just a mess and it was the moment in which you saw what Jeff Ireland was about and how unsuccessful he would be as Dolphins GM.

I still dream of what could of been, if they traded up to pick Barry Sanders in 89. Thought that was a real possibility since they were looking for a back that year and had 2 first round picks they could of packaged.

Trading down and not taking Moss if they had stayed put, was another dream that never happened.

Another thing that's laughable is how they botched Brees, not once, but twice!

Jamar Fletcher over Drew Brees? I wanted Reggie Wayne who went 31st to the Colts that year.

Some of these picks are seen as missed because the GM was unable to see into the future. We should have hired Ms. Cleo as GM.
