We all watch in disbelief and horror that this could be happening in our beloved United States. The circumstances are deteriorating rapidly for the many in New Orleans and along the Gulf coast. We received a call this morning from a physician officer in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), to inform us that the federal government is currently seeking professional healthcare volunteers. The government will grant intermittent status to professional healthcare volunteers, covering malpractice insurance and travel costs. All other expenses will be up to the individual. BLANK will cover the employee volunteer on a regular salary basis. Yesterday, the Bytes and Pieces update instructed all persons interested in volunteering to register through the BLANK Intranet . We must keep a record in-house to evaluate staffing needs for volunteer deployment. So please register your interest on the BLANK site.

She also got letter from FEMA offering her big bucks covered by the Goverment to go.
