alright, i am in an argument with a steelers fan (started off talking about health issues with both QBs) about how good culpepper is. i need some of his stats. i know i could find them, but i figured some of you guys have them very handy. one person even had a screen shot from ESPN comparing him to our past Qbs. thanks in advance.

oh yeah, his argument is that he is overrated because he has too many INTs, tries to go deep too much, had moss, and fumbles.
 
Go to google and put in 'Daunte Culpepper player card'. It will send you to espn which has all sorts of great stats.

There ya go man. I'm glad to help because people that say Daunte is no good just are unknowledgeable football fans.

INTs: In his six seasons, Daunte has had three years where he has had more than twice as many TDs and INTs; one year where they were about even; and two years where he threw more INTs.

Tries to go deep: If you have Randy Moss and Kelly Campbell, wouldn't you? :rolleyes: In his two best seasons, he averaged more than 8 yards per pass attempt. That is right up there with Donovan McNabb's Super Bowl year, Peyton Manning's last two years, and Kurt Warner's MVP years in St. Louis. Tom Brady has never done that. Brett Favre has never done that.

Had Moss: He's now got Chris Chambers, who has never had the privilege of playing with someone who could throw a football.

Fumbles: He averages exactly one fumble a game for his career but he loses fewer than half of them. He lands on most of the rest.
