I have been a Fin fan for a long time however I never been to a game in Miami. Well this year I am planning to go to the Miami vs. Green Bay game. I have even talked some of my friends who are Packer backers to go so I can see them cry when we kick their (underside). lol

The question which I have is do you have any suggestions on hotels close to the stadium which you would recommend? Do you have any recommendations on the best site to purchase tickets? Your comments and advice is appreciated.

Thanks

I dont know much about the hotels near the stadium but the best place to get tickets is on stubhub.

I don't have any suggestion's but a word of advise the area where the stadium is located at can be dangerous.I would recommend you find one some distance from the stadium and catch a shuttle bus in.Last game I went to I stayed in fort lauderdale and came in by bus.The scenery is nicer over there I guess it's what you are looking for in your trip.

I use a company called Travelleaders.they will set you up in the team hotel, throw a tailgate party, host a dinner at your hotel with one or two of the players attending and give you some free stuff, hat, calender, etc. its a great time. Search them on the web,but i think you can find them on the dolphins website. They also do some away games.

I'm not sure how much $$ you want to spend on a hotel but there is a really nice Seminole Hard Rock Hotel a few miles away. It's about 10 mins from the stadium and it's right off the Turnpike so it's very easy to get from there to the game. We've stayed there and it's a really nice hotel/casino and they have a tiki bar in the pool. You may want to check it out.

 yeah, I saw that too when I was in for the Bills game (:D ) ... problem is, they wanted about $300/per night.

There are some nice, reasonably priced places in Ft. Lauderdale. Short drive to the stadium.

stubhub, ticketmaster, broker or try and scalp tix. in that order I'd say.

Hotel - what is your budget? Don't be afraid to stay 35 minutes from the stadium. You'll be better off on a shuttle or cab, and that way you'll have plenty to do, before & after the stadium.

I enjoy Hard Rock, but if you aren't much for slots, poker, and being in just one spot, the $300 might be better spent elsewhere.

If you really are JUST there for the Dolphins/Packers game, think about this place

http://www.elpalacioresort.com/

Its a dive, but probably reasonable. You can almost walk to the stadium. And Mandich and 560 do the pre and post-game from there.

I have my WISC family coming down for that game. Should be a real hoot.

Thanks for the info. I will definitely look at fort lauderdale as an option.
