Need GM First

I think we should get the GM in place first call and give control to Scott Pioli. If you give him full control you could hire him away from NE. Then let him pick the next HC.

Well I don't know much about GM's but I say we get Wannstadt back or Jim Bates which ESPN said would fit well. At least Wanndstad held his head up high and never called it quits. Wasn't that before Saban left? When Mueller still wasn't in complete control of personnel decisions. I hardly see Mueller leaving now if the "real" GM job is offered to him.

Yeah, Saban was supposedly ready to fire Mueller, but the guys on Sirius this morning said they expected it to happen even with Nick leaving.

I don't care how manly he is. I want a really good football coach, and Wannstadt doesn't fit the bill.

Mueller with full control is much better Gm then Mueller playing second fiddle to mr SEC Nick Saban.
