I'm going up to orlando this weekend and I need to know how I can get to watch the game.... What channels could I watch from a hotel... I know it might not be covered but maybe some of you might know.... thanks

I live in Orlando, and I doubt this week's game will be on. They tend to show Buc and Jags games over phin games. There's a sports bar i usually goto that has every game on, thats on the east side of town, near UCF. Its called Devanny's( not sure of spelling)

what about the sun network or whatever its called, i used ot watch some games on that when i lived in florida when i was very little and i always go on vacation there

And the Jags/Bucs just happen to be playing each other this weekend.

thats not a great formula for seeing the fins around here jags vs bucs...

Yea, we get the fins whenever Jax plays at 4pm. If Jax plays at 1pm we are usually out of luck. I'll check the guide later to see if it's scheduled but I won't get my hopes up because it's preseason.

According to the programming guide, you guys in Orlando are out of luck.

thanks guys... yeah I'm staying near Epcot because I'm diving in the "living Seas" @ 7:00 am so I'll make it just in time to see the game \...maybe there's a bar in that area???

i just moved to orlando, and actually got rid of my direct tv ( wife ). the cable company told me they were getting a football package, which i had heard from other people, and i got a good deal on the internet phone and cable, with high def tivo combo stuff, but of course they didnt come thru with the nfl package.. for at least a year ( or so i hear) so now that i have all the digital cable equipment im not switchin back to direct tv, so i wont be seeing any away games this year, which sucks. im gonna have to find a sports bar myself around here, near universal, any ideas?

I'm pretty sure there is a Marino's Tavern right near Universal and someone correct me of I'm wrong, but I think they show every Dolphins game. I can't exactly remember if it was a Fins/bucs, fins/jax or another but I did see a game in that specific bar a few years back.

Do you have Brighthouse??? I'd be interested in the Football package...

And sports bars by Universal, im not sure. I have offices over there so I'll ask around, but I'm sure there is something.

1. The Sheraton Twin Towers hotel, directly across from Universal. They have a bar called Scuba Joe's. They consider themselves a Fin-Friendly establishment. They have 2 giant projection screens, they generally show the Fins on the one farthest from the bar.

2. The "Thirsty Whale" on Kirkman north of Universal. Lots of TVs and they generally show the Fins on a big screen. Food is pretty good too. I used to live there about 4 months ago.

3. JB's Sports Bar on Kirkman north of Universal. Its in a big shopping center. Lots of TVs. They wiil however cater to whatever team has the biggest crowd. Sometimes it gets really packed.

Whenever the fins weren't on regular TV I'd go to one of them.

Not a good place to watch a game. Great place to eat though. I listed someother places that are much closer to Universal. Try those first!!!!!:D

You may want to call the local Gator's restaraunt in Orlando. I watched a Fins game there before getting DirecTV in the new house. They usually have all the games during the season. I've heard that Champs Sports Bar is cool too but I've never been.

For the pre-season games......I'm not sure you'll be able to find it. The Orlando Ale House will let you know a few hours before the game if they are getting the game-feed but it is a long shot.

:crying:
