Great call. Like the player quite a bit and this was a no brainer. Don’t think a team will give up a 2 for him so it’s a safe bet that he’s our nickel in 2022. Perfectly good with that.
He’s developed while having to fill in for guys on the boundary, as well as playing the nickel. Tough hard working guy. Good stuff.

Needham is a good player
He is probably better than any CB a team will draft in the second round in this years draft. So there is always a possibility a team looking up upgrade their secondary would be willing to give up a second round pick to sign him.
So in regards to the title of this thread. He is back only if no other team is willing to sign him and give the Dolphins a second round pick for him.
