So Miami had the following needs..

RT

Pass Rusher
S
CB
#2 WR
TE
and maybe ILB

now our needs are...

oh wait we brought in another D linemen in Soliai but yet, we have nothing else.

TALK ABOUT A GREAT OFFSEASON!

Lets go Miami!!! Are we going to fill all of these holes with our picks?

When will Ireland just **** off and disappear with Ross in his anus.


Oh and we aren't rebuilding but behind the scenes we are 100% rebuilding...nice now we not only lie to Morono, we embrass the organization with bryant and now we lie to the fan base. This is why this arrogant back stabbing lying sack of **** Ireland is kept, he is exactly like Ross.. a completely **** sucker.
 
Hey in 30 or so hours we managed to not only get rid of our #1WR, but also managed to re-secure Paul Soliai to play nose tackle in our new 4-3 defense..... wait that cant be right..... Oh well moving on....

Thats not even taking into consideration the two 3rd rounders we picked up getting rid of our best offensive skill player. Those two picks are invaluable as we will undoubtedly turn them into our long snapper of the future, and a back up utility/special teams CB. So now two of the most important positions on every roster are filled for the next 5 years and all we had to do was give up our best offensive player. No Brainer!!!
 
dont be surprised if we dont get a pass rusher now that we signed solia.... the line will probably be him and starks at DT and wake and odrick at DE. honestly im not too upset with that. We need to focus on offense and add some damn fire power. and maybe a saftey
 
Looks to me like we are not interested in overpaying players simply because we classify them as a 'need position'. Drafting and teaching players is something Philbin will be high on coming from Green Bay. They haven't signed a FA in 2 years I believe.
 
and i don't think Ireland realized the offseason has started, yet.

if i actually believed Philbin had control i might be encouraged. But everything that has happened to far is the status quo. Make impulse( or perhaps just poor) decisions without a back up plan or solid solution for the whole you just made. Then re-sign Soliai who is one of the best nose tackles in the game to play in what has been rumored to be our new 4-3 defense. It just doesn't make sense.
 
Philbin made a lot of noise about building through the draft and it looks like the FO is listening. It will now be up the the coaching staff to actually coach players up once we draft em.
 
We could have signed a bunch of FA's and people would be mad we arent addressing QB. We make QB a priority and are pushing hard for one and people are mad about the other FA's. Sucks but it is the spot Miami is going to be in now because of past errors. I will wait till august before I start to freak but I can understand the lack of trust in the FO at this point.

retaining your own top notch talent at a fair price always makes sense.

Yeah! that's the answer. Rather than speaking out when i see the team i love heading in the wrong direction for yet another off season I'll just start routing for another team. Because god knows hating this teams awful, impulsive, and short sighted FO means you hate the Dolphins as a team.
