Needs

Here is a list of what I think our needs are, order of importance, and how we are doing:
LT-Albert: Done
CB-Grimes, Finnegan (are we done?)
DT-Mitchell, Starks: Done
S-Delmas
RT-
2 G-Smith (Need one more at least)
RB-
LB-
So not too bad; we have about 60% of our needs filled by the first week.

If we can land an above average Vet RT then we can have the luxury of plugging and playing rookies at G sandwiched between Pouncey and our 2 Tackles. I do stil think we draft DT 1st pick in the draft.

RB - 1 (A vet who is proven, cut Gillislee or Marshall or both then)
TE - 1 (A vet to platoon with Clay, cut both Egnew, K.Miller then)
OL - 1 (Guard or Tackle, cut whoever is last on depth chart)
FS - 1 (back-up for Reshad Jones cause Don Jones doesn't cut it, cut Thomas or Kovacs)
CB - 1 (another vet, Patterson coming back even, more depth here and cut Jalil Brown)

I think we go one more offensive lineman and then draft the rest of our needs, which I prefer. Unless a runningback we like gets cut later on..

I agree, we need a good vet RT.....but who is left in FA. I do not think that the Phinz go DT in round 1, IMHO that doesn't make since now. The Phinz should go either OL or LB in round 1 (bottom-line: Wheeler needs to be replaced at LB ASAP, he sucks)

i know we have bigger needs but our LBs flat out suck...wish there was something we could do there besides draft and develop. win now!!!

Looking at the drafts Hickey has been involved in, I think we draft defense no matter what. Hope I'm wrong but damn, look at the history
