Positives
1. McMillan is the key MLBer and QB of the defense. Maybe not.
2. Corner back is a strength. Nope.
3. Fales will develop into a fine back up. Not so far.

Negatives
1. We can’t stop the run. Still can’t.
2. Offense can’t convert third downs. Still can’t
3. Defense can’t stop third downs. Still can’t.

Sorry, bad post. I’m just frustrated. Maybe we can start 4-1. Maybe we can sweep either the jets or bills and split the other. 4-2 in the division would be good.

Just wait. In the past our D line has been incredible during the preseason. O looks good too. Should be the year, right?

Not so much.

I don’t care about preseason. Yes, the shoddy play and penalties are a concern. But we can’t fix em, and we got what we got for this year.

I do not expect Strock to come out of retirement.

Or Manny. Or Zack. Picking up anybody that we could use from the waiver wire seems unlikely, or they wouldn’t have been cut.

Two years ago we started for ****, and then clicked and made the playoffs. I think we have a better roster, but these guys need to click.

Personally, I think we have everything we need to excel. Whether we rule or sink like a rock is, to me, all on the coaches.

Every bit.

Positives
1. Fitzpatrick
2. My new medication Remeron makes me feel void of feelings
3. The season is what 11 days away?!

Negatives
1. Yep can't stop the run
2. Penalties we had 8 last game but it's just pre-season it might get fixed week 1
3. We probably won't win the SB this year so another year of maybe next year

That was 6 negatives..

I don't understand where you come up with this **** when we're not even a snap into the regular season

I don't believe things are as dire as many ppl think. We have speed, on both sides of the ball. If our o-line is competent, no reason we can't move the ball. My biggest concern is run D, between the tackles.

You are right, it is at least 80% on the coaches.

We'll be right in the thick of the playoff hunt to start the season. That's a big positive.

On a serious note, there's gonna be some growing pains, but it think most of us will enjoy some of our young talent flashing and giving us a glimmer of hope for the future.

Also, no more Cutler.

My biggest concerns are pre-snap penalties, not converting on 3rd downs, and inability to punch it in for 6 in the redzone. Tannehill has looked sharper than I thought he would coming off extended time off due to injury so that is a bright spot, along with Drake looking explosive. Quinn looks like the real deal at DE so we should get a decent pass rush when teamed up Wake. Up the middle though our run D might be troublesome especially when adding in 'rookie LBs' McMillian and Baker. Expect teams to test us often; perhaps we can counter by bringing in Jones/McDonald into the box and having Fitzpatrick play FS.
