Nelson wins Tatum Award

The Touchdown Club of Columbus has named Florida defensive back Reggie Nelson the winner of the Jack Tatum Award. The award, named after Ohio State and NFL legend Jack Tatum, is presented annually to the best defensive back in college football. Nelson, a hard-hitting junior defensive back from Melbourne, intercepted six passes including a late pick that secured a Gator win over Tennessee. Virginia Tech DB Jimmy Williams claimed the award in 2005.

Nelson will be presented the award during the Touchdown Club of Columbus 52nd Sports Awards Banquet on Feb. 10.

man i love watching nelson play.such a nose for the ball it reminds me of ed reed in his college days.he will be a great player in the nfl.maybe we could get him:wink:
 
Nelson is a stud. Will be a good NFL player for sure, I wouldn't go as far as Ed Reed, but good.
