Daunte needs to hang it up. The guy is done. He cant read for crap he's making Collins look like a hall of famer out there and to top it all off he cant even throw a catchable ball within 5 yards WTF!?!?! It's just plain embarrasing. I dont know what his issues are but they are obviously many and it is not something that is fixable any time soon.

Also defense ranked 6th in the league? ROFL why is Zach Thomas in coverage? Why is Tennesee worst team in the league aside from the Raiders moving the ball with authority on us? Sabans schemes suck noone in the secondary seems to know their assignments we are now in game three and db's are still blowing their coverages this is just embarassing.

Saban needs to go back to college ball and Culpepper needs to retire...

he doesn't need to hang it up.

He just isn't very good.

Culpepper reminds me of Dan's last years when defenses would just pin their ears back and rush. Dan was helpless, much like Culpepper. If we continue to suck (and it looks like we will), give Cleo a shot. He appears to make quick decisions and can move behind a putrid O-line.

You know I was thinking the same thing thats why I feel it's time for him to retire. Dan was a great QB in his time, Daunte was as well i'm not trying to take that from him but he is just passed his prime he's beat up. His biggest threat and the thing that made him such a great QB was his ability to escape the rush and make BIG plays out of it he's just not capable of it anymore. He never was a pocket passer and he obviously never will be.

I would also like to see Lemon in there mostly because he is the unknown. We already know Joey is an average QB but throughout preseason Lemon impressed me the most with his quickness and his reads. It would be nice to see what he can do with a bunch of NFL starters out there. He can't do any worse and if he doesnt do any better then we throw Joey in. One thing is obvious though Daunte is done...sad as it sounds he just doesnt have what it takes anymore.

And you need to chill out. Coaches have lost before. Bill Belichick, for example, didnt win all those superbowls his second season in. Just calm down, take your meds, and wait for the storm to pass.

Hang it up is strong...

but as a coach myself...he shouldn't be out on the field right now.

What has Saban done? He revamped our secondary which is the worst part of our defense right now. He refuses to bench Culpepper and give someone else a chance....he has no balls. He looks timid on the sidelines he's never screaming hell half the time he's clapping when the other team scores. This team is not motivated they look lazy out there, it all stems from coaching. this is not college ball and I honestly dont think Saban is anything more than a college coach.

Culpepper is a damn statue out there, he just sits there waiting for someone to get open or else take the sack. You cant do this in professional football and you cant blame every sack on your line you have to be mobile. When someone breaks the line and the QB scrambles and completes a pass it breaks the rushers spirit and slows down the pass rush but if on every down the pass rusher knows he has a chance at sacking the QB because he never moves he's never going to lose heart and is always going to keep trying. This game is as much mental as it is physical and you dont achieve the physical without the mental.

We almost lost to the Titans...THE FREAKIN TITANS WTF?!?!?!

Daunte is making Collins look like a HoFer, really?

Daunte is playing D now?

Wow, news to me!

BlueHaze, you've seen the light. Congrats. I'm excited about the win. Daunte's play is still sub-par. Keep in mind this was the Titans people.

Wow[admin]No name calling.... period[/admin]. I feel stupid for reading this thread.

So there are people here that are angry because we didn't beat the Titans soundly enough? I'm just glad they won.

Obviously for some it's not all about the W...

A W is enough for me... We just need to build on it... The AFC East is still wide open...

That's what I was thinking, they might have sucked but it's better to suck and get the win than the loss. They know they have a lot of work to do.

Daunte was hard to watch this week. But he didnt make any big mistakes that could have cost us the game, and that's really important at this point.

Takes balls to not listen to the fan base. He was hired for a reason. If anyone knows anything about football it is the 4th week when teams really start to show their true signs. If culpepper continues to suck then they will do something.

I was watching the sunday night game...Plummer had a ~56.3 Qb rating in the beginning of the season(2005) then was awesome at the end of the year. ( I think 17tds 3ints ) takes balls to keep him in and then go to the playoffs.

Lions 6 Seahawks 9
Baltimore 14 Browns 13
The previous Jets vs Pats game

A win is a win.
