Good speed and knows how to hit (one of the ONLY hitters we have at LB). He has also added some muscle this off season so he will be bigger and stronger in 2016.

Hope he's a nice find like jenkins was. I praying jenkins returns to form and we could potentially have a very young lb core with jenkins, alonso and hewitt

I hate to say it but injuries will get him on to the field... hope that he shows up and plays hard after that... I surely did like what I saw from him last season...

I think he showed he belongs on the field to begin with last season. And I truly believe he is the reason they didn't sign any other lbs

Not sure he is even a lock to make the roster. The competition is already fierce, and if Dion Jordan returns and is playing only LB that makes it even tougher. Vigil and Hull aren't going anywhere yet, and McCain has the potential to beat him out , if he ever grows up.

We know who the starters are, and I am predicting Jelani Jenkins will have his best year as a pro. Jenkins was never really 100% all last season. I'm confident we will see a different player this year.

He did well when he got on the field last year. Hopefully, he can keep it up going into the future.

He went undrafted largely due to his measurables. But, he was fast, athletic and productive in college.
He has gained some weight and now looks the part of an NFL LB.
Some guys coming out of college haven't come close to reaching their ceiling an as a result often become draft steals or UFA.
Trevathan and Marshall were mid to late round picks for the Broncos top ranked defense last season.
Hewitt has the athleticism and speed to make an impact. I think he competes strongly for a starting job in TC.

We were told (by Adam Gase) that Chris McCain is a Defensive End. And if Dion Jordan does return, will he be a DE or OLB? How much will he weigh? If he's 280 I don't see how he can be an OLB.

Not bad. Lacks instincts. Sometimes he sees it and fires and sometimes he doesn't. A frustrating player to watch.

If Dion Jordan does return...? He will probably be closer to his college weight of 248.
The bulking up for him was unnatural, and a complete fail.

Warning: Keep in mind what VJ actually said in his interview. If you pay close attention, and if you scrutinize the moves being made at the bottom of this roster, it becomes pretty clear that if this defense works this year, then great. If it doesn't, then it is sayonara to Super Mario,Earl Mitchell, and Koa Misi, and welcome to Myles Garrett,Dontari Poe,Malik McDowell and the Dolphins new base 3-4.

For that reason, I think they would like to keep McCain around, and welcome Jordan back.
