I was watching highlights of the Dolphins against the Bills from week 18. Look at this picture? Do you think this new rule (that was called on Baltimore several times) is affecting the Dolphins runs? It feels like with their old alignment it would be easier to get outside faster and pull. Just something I noticed and could be nothing.

Not sure tbh. I put part of it down to the fact this is really the first competitive game they have played together this year as a unit. Timing off at times, rust.

Oh yeah. Jags front 7 is pretty good too.

Let's see in weeks ahead.

Yeah their linebackers are good with great speed. Perfect for stopping those outside runs and screens. I agree it will get easier. Buffalo was not the best against the run vs the Cardinals.

Not sure I follow. I don't recall Miami's tackles last year setting up a yard and a half off the line of scrimmage like the Eagles were this week. Seems like most tackles who do it, only do it on passing plays to give them a step dealing with edge rushers. The picture you have from the Buffalo game looks like the tackle is up even with the guard.

The Eagles are famous for having their tackles line up deeper, It could be called more on them.
