very complimentary. i almost cried.

but damn, we have to cut down on the pre-snap penalties. I cringe everytime one is called against us - they're avoidable.

.........and again, you have to EARN that respect..........not just sign a bunch of free agents and hire a prodigal college coach........

That's the thing.

Until we show this week in and wekk out we will keep being underdogs.

We were competitive, but we were competitive many games last year.

Winning and dominating like we did this week is what will start getting us the love back.

It's just one game and some need to realize that.

I see us going 3-0 going into the bye week and already being referred to possibly being this years Chargers.

We are very talented, the only thing that will stop us is O-line and QB. If they play just decent Football we will shock alot this year and could compete for the playoffs.

And for those who say the crowd wasn't loud:

"McMichael said he couldn’t remember the fans being so loud and Saban said afterward that the cheering was clearly a factor in the game."

I thought it was pretty rocking! I think the 12th man showed up!

I agree for the most part. I think the elements helped the O-line out a little bit, particulary as the game wore on and the Denver D was out there on the field forever in that swampy weather. We took what they gave us, which was basically a short passing game. The O-line needs to get a little more in sync though, the number of false starts was astounding. Wasn't there at one point a series with 3 in a row? Les we forget two attrocious attempts at 4th and 1 when we were on offense. A dominating win like we had kind of covers up the sore spots, but at least it gives us things to work on.

As for the QB play, Gus is bound to struggle at some point in a game this year - it would be ridiculous to assume otherwise. I think what I saw out of the rest of the team leads me to think that when that does happen, the rest of the team can pick up the slack because they're not going to be tired out from doing it every Sunday like in years past.

i said it in a other post, man that D was hyped up. when denver got down to our goaline for the last time, the big guys were jumping around, people were going crazy, players asking for it to get louder. i was in the second row screaming so loud and jumping up and down i thought my throat was going to bleed. its great to know they appreciate what we were trying to do for them. btw that was a great article, cohen is the man
