New Andy Cohen: Sparano Seems Like An Excellent Fit

Not to bash Cohen, but it seems his writings are always filtered through Dolphins PR. I know he's the Dolphins' main writer, so that makes sense, but I don't get much of a subjective feel when reading his material.

I think I read this same article 3 times already in the past several years. Just change "Tony Sparano" with Cam Cameron, Nick Saban and Dave Wannstedt.

Don't care if he is a homer or not. Still a good read. I sense something different about this hire. Maybe the word I am looking for is "stability". It just feels different this time. Lets hope I am right.

Andy loves the Dolphins as much as any of us on the site do. He's lucky enough to have a spot inside the organization where he can interact with all of the people we love (and hate). If his writing seems a bit pie in the sky, keep in mind that this isn't Armando we're talking about here - it's an honest to goodness Dolphins fan who wants to see his team succeed.

BTW, has anyone emailed Andy to let him know we're back up and he can start posting here again?

Andy Cohen is a great Phinz writer in my opinion, and I agree with him 100% here. I couldn't be more pleased with the way things have unfolded under Parcells. I can't wait to see Sparano whip this team into shape, and bring a winning mentality back to Miami!!...

PHINZ RULE!!!!

they say that it will be a good fit every time but the last however many coaches have sucked

Andy is one of the biggest homers out there. Doesnt matter who we hire cause he will think its an excellent hire and the right choice.

I did feel something good yesterday about Sparano. I hope he makes a huge impact and drafts a lot of studs because the lack of young talent, has brought down this franchise.

Well said, and in now way would I want someone on the other extreme who consistently highlights the negatives. I just think that sometimes it come across as PR.
