"Everyone's coming out here with one common goal, and that's to win," new receiver Ernest Wilford said. "We want to win our division this year. We're not going to wait.
"Why not us?"
Wilford's question was rhetorical. An answer came anyway:
The New England Patriots, for one.
"Why not us?" Wilford said again, this time more firmly. "The Patriots are just another team to me.
"No fear. Don't live in fear."

I don't know what this guy wants the player to say. I think we got to be exited every new season and don't think that just because we are in the same division as New England we can't beat them. We have done it before

Go Dolphins

I agree, what else are they supposed to say? I want players that want to win now and believe they can win now. Even if they know inside that they are rebuilding.

I don't agree with you on New England though. The comment on New England was that we can't win our division because of New England. While I believe that the Pats won't be on top for much longer, they still will be this year. There's no way we are going to win the division though.

Like I said though.....I'm glad the players have a winning attitude.

I would have thought the same before they traded what good players we had left now all we have is cap space. Yeah, this year is gonna be fun:rolleyes2:

i'll tell you what, i am excited for the new season. bring it on AFC east

Josh McCown has never QB'ed a team with even a somewhat decent OL. The OL's in Arizona were horrible and the Raiders haven't had a decent line for years.

Don't be at all surprised if McCown starts this year and the best year of his career.

Typical... very short sighted. I agree though Taylor, Thomas, and Chambers all won alot of games for us last year. Shessh, get a clue.

Well everyone and their mother is picking the Fins to go 3-13 or worse so Wilford saying that is a good thing. I hope the team feels the same way and won't just pack it in.

The team and us fans deserve much more then that

Man I totally agree with you. I guess I am definately in the minority regarding McCown but, I always thought he could be a starter in this league and if our Oline gives him enough time he could surprise people and have a decent season.

Maybe McCown can be this year's Gus Frerotte, and send Ginn to a pro bowl.

ah , ha ha , you jokers don't really beleive we will win against the pats do you ? man, Wes Welker has already given them the keys to success formulated by the great Dave Wannstedt . besides with the great Sam Madison and the hardest working player in dolphin history (Mr. Randy Mcmichael ) now playing for the giants and rams the chances have dropped to 15% .

kidding guys , I am just messing around . I think we can go 7-9 or 8-8 if we dont have too many injuries.
