soooo hot out its the same temp up here and i was tossen the ball around in the sun.... i musta sweat a bucket full..... thats gotta be intense down there
 
I'm a little surprised we wore shorts today with only one practice.

Actually, it's probably not as bad down there. Florida is a peninsula therefore it always has a nice cross breeze. The temp will still be the same or higher, but it's not as bad given the air is moving acroos the state from the cooler water that surrounds it. If you live somewhere in the middle of the nation and the winds not blowing it can feel much worse then it is. I lived on the west coast of Florida for a quarter of my life and it was never as hot down there as it was lets say Hampton Roads Virginia, where I also lived. It was always nasty hot in Virginia IMO.

I get your point but some days when the "sea breeze" is not blowin' it feels like hellz ballz. The heat index reaches high 90's and low 100's on a regular basis.
