I'm torn on whether a new coaching staff and new qb (hopefully Luck) would be able to make this a winning team. There is some talent on this roster for sure and right now none of the main guys are playing like they can. Would a new coach and qb inspire? Or would the rest of the team drag them down?

I look at other teams as examples. The Colts are great until they lose Manning. Now they are the second worst team in the league. The Patriots can have injury after injury and are still good because of Brady and Belichick.

So...do we have enough other pieces here to have a winning franchise with a top flight qb and coach? Right now I think we do. But each week it seems like I lose faith in more and more players. Seems like you need a top qb to have a winning team nowadays though. And while we can debate all day on whether or not Henne is serviceable, I don't think anyone can argue that he's a TOP qb in this league.

I think we all hope Sparano is gone after the year. We all hope we can get Luck. But do we think it's enough?

It's a start. I think the house needs to be cleaned though. There is now a culture of losing and you can see it in the way the players perform. You have players that have shown they are playmakers elsewhere like Dansby and Marshall, but now can't do a damn thing. I think this team needs a fresh start.

It's a hell of a start!!

No...need a new GM too. Need to get rid of Ireland, or else we will continue to be the Cowboys retirement villa....
