Well, since so many people on here are ready to cut Saban, how about a list of possible coaches to replace him. Be careful who you list, you know how we go back on these posts....:D
 
I like Saban, and I hope he stays, but if he leaves, I would like an offensive mind as our new head coach. Al Saunders or Ken Wisenhunt would be great IMO. Leaning more towards Ken.

We already have Dom Capers working on our defense.
 
Not completely sarcastic, Don Shula. The team has done nothing but disappoint me since he left.
 
I don,t really no, but i,ll give this Saban thing one more year.

Either Mike Mularkey or Ricky Williams! :goof:
 
I also will give Saban one more year. Let see what he does next year, then I'll jump on the "fire Saban Bandwagon". That being said, I really hate the way the O has been coached. 4th and inches... and he goes for a field goal with a shaky Mare. He's playing not to loose!
 
Any thought to Mike Shula? Perhaps Dad could make some suggestions now and then.

Of course, we should stick with Saban for at least 3 more years.

Though just for fun and speculation ...
NO to al saunders, he hasnt done crap for the Skins this year as OC. I really dont know many of the names out there, but Id like to stay away from college ranks. But Id say bring in an offensive guru and can Mularkey.
Hmm, Im sure the Patriots have some coordinator or other we can steal. :p

What team is Wisenhunt on?
 
IF Saban resigns and goes to Alabama, I'd like Bates to be considered. If not him an offensive minded coach who will let Capers run the defense. However, the Coach DOES NOT have GM duties - let Mueler handle them.

Pittsburgh, and I think you should consider the fact that Saunders DID NOT have Clinton Portis, and is working with a 1st year starting quarterback. His offense in Kansas City was pretty good, and he works well with running backs, just see the Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson duo last year. IMO, Larry isn't as explosive as he was last year.
