New Dolphin, Gator Hoskins

Just watched some tape on this guy - how he went undrafted is a mystery to me. Gets open, good hands, hard to tackle. Looks like a good pickup for us.

Using this link - I noticed something very interesting.

His ratio of Catches to Td's over the last 3 years were

Sophomore - 1td per every 4.6 catches
Junior - 1td per every 3.4 catches
Senior - 1td per every 3.3 catches

No matter the league or level - that's some pretty eye popping production and to consider that he's been consistent with it, i.e. he didn't have one big year - so when you see the highlights as has been mentioned you say - hey that's just his good stuff - looks like theres consistently a lot of good stuff.

If this kid's talent translates to the NFL in that he can continue to develop - then I think OC-Lazor has an interesting task on his hands to find ways to use him.

Very intrigued by this guy.

The kids surely knows how to find the end-zone. Razor should be abled to find some plays for him during the pre season to see what Gator can do in the pro game.

He lacks size for an NFL TE at 6-2, but can he be productive somewhere with his hands? Had this guy been 6-4 or 6-5 he would be a early round pick.

Led all TE in NCAA last year with 15 TDS and ranked 3rd for all receivers in TDs.

This is the best highlight package of our entire draft for me. Hell, it might be the second best highlight package of any receiver I've looked at besides Marqise Lee, and the sick thing about Gator's package is almost everything that made the cut is a TD.

Ive seen the kid play. He is good. He could have a shot at making this team, if not perhaps the practice squad.

His numbers are solid, but he did play in an offense that could boost numbers. He also had a very good QB throwing to him and he was probably Cato's best weapon. But, I wouldnt count him out. He has talent.
