Hi
I am a big dolphin Fan and what i am asking myself is
why does the Marlings get a new Stadium and we didnt.
What do you think ?
I think we need a new dolphin stadium

How old are you pal? Dolphin Stadium is 21 years old. That's young
for a stadium. Plus, they've recently spent millions to upgrade. There
is no new stadium on the horizon.
 
The stadium is fine and they just did major renovations to upgrade it. The Marlins need their own stadium, because they are destroying the Dolphins field in the fall.

If you are going to give each team their own stadium, it is better to build a new baseball stadium then a football stadium. Baseball stadiums are usually smaller then what the Marlins play in now.
 
Wish the lower level seats were closer to the action, but that's my only gripe. Maybe since the marlins are leaving, they would add some seats down there?

I agree. The seats sitting so damn far from the action really sucks. I don't know why in the hell we wanted a fricken stadium designed that way to begin with. It's just stupid.

dont worry the dolphins will ask for a new stadium soon enough, and then the taxpayers will for some reason have to pay for it. I admire the stadium we have because it was the last of the stadiums I can remember that did not hold the football city ransom. Why does the NFL not pay for thier own stadiums since they make so much money, oh yea because taxpayers are stupid enough to pay for them.
 
im pretty sure when the marlins bounce they will put a few more rows to get close to the field. im also sure there will be many many more improvments once the marlins r gone.
 
And as of now....the Marlins arent getting a stadium. If they dont, they'll move out of Miami, which would be really sad
 
A New Dolphin Stadium

I was reading the article and we don't need a new stadium because they did some upgrades to it but I think that pretty soon in the feature that we may get a new Dolphin Stadium.

Why would you think that? The amount of money that was poured into the stadium the last 10 years is not something you want turned into rubble the next 10.

I agree, go watch a game there. It's fantastic facility that has a lot of potential to get even better.
 
They need to put seats closer to the field once the Marlins are gone. That's my biggest beef with DS right now. Other than that, it's a good stadium.
