Hey guys, I've been around here for years and years, posting under a number of screen names since I was 10 years old and the Internet was just getting popular (For all you old-timers, like Ozzy etc., contact me and I'll fill you in more as to my true identity!). Over the last few years I've done more reading than writing on this board and I appreciate all of the information and insights everyone provides that, for a long time, made me feel like I didn't need to be posting. Well, I'm back....

I recently decided it's time for me to throw in my 2 cents on a regular basis. I just launched my blog today and I'm hoping everyone will check it out periodically. Also, look out for my articles on the Bleacher Report, which I'll notify everyone about via my blog.

I can't post links under this new name but the address is miamihasthedolphins.blogspot.com and I'll be posting every day or two. I just put up a couple of things to get it started....Thanks again.

Phins, you write well, no question. And you are a really cool url MIAMIHASTHEDOLPHINS...thats sweet :chuckle: My only problem with your blog is that you are stating the obvious. Keep in mind, all the people who will view your blog are serious dolphin fans primarily from this website. You are a Sports writer, it's not like you are writing purely as a hobby. I suggest you get yourself to the training camps, to the games, or somehow gain information that the average die hard dolfan would not know. That is your only setback, your writing is pretty good.
 
It is not too difficult to do such a thing. My close friend, who is far from graduating mind you, landed an internship/job with Mike DiPasquale for Channel 7. He has no connections, just determination. He has been spending all his time around the Dolphins, spoke to Parcells, Sporano, all the players from Ronnie/Pennington to Pat White/Sean Smith... Even Dwayne Wade lol.. Camarillo knows my friend by name. He aspires to be in broadcasting and I have been dying for him to start a blog or start writing on FinHeaven. I told him I would even type everything for him. Only problem is he moves to Orlando to transfer to UCF this weekend. He leaves that awesome opportunity behind. Point being, that sort of thing can be done. To have insight and information not known to the public is more than half the battle. You write well, but I knew everything you wrote already. And so did everyone else. I will check your blog out periodically to see how it is going though, good luck!
 
Where was who when we were losing? Phins, right? I hope your not talking about me, because I'm ashamed of where I was. Posting on this site under a Culpepper name hahahahha
 
i've been here for years, win or lose. I used to post under the name PhinfanBo1, for those of you who have been here long enough to remember. I've never left, just changed my screen name here, that's all.

I completely understand, thanks for the feedback. I'm going to be coming out with a lot of stuff-this was just an introductory post to get you going on my train of thought, you know? I don't claim to have any connections or anything like that, but I'll be writing a bunch of columns that I hope you guys will enjoy for their uniqueness and substance, as well as breaking down game film and spending time doing those kinds of things for your benefit.
