I unfortunately had to work today at a mall and missed most the game but saw the last two minutes. It was classic to hear everyone yell when they scored and me the only one to yell when they missed the two point try. Do you want to know how hypocritical Pats fans are? Here goes:

1) The fans cheered and were trying to bet me and etc... about the game, saying the pats will kick butt..etc.. Showing that they cared...but once the game was over I was told " Wow, you guys beat the Pats 3rd stringers by 2 points". Which was exactly what i was telling the same fans, Miami was screwed either way. If they won, it was against backups, if they lost, they lost to backups.

2) One pats fan i work with was mad cuz the phins were up 16-13. So when I checked the score and came back i said the pats backup was in...he asks "who? Rohan Davey" I chuckled and said that he was cut earlier in the season. Which was almost as bad as the same guy who didn't even know the pats clinched the playoffs. He thought they had to win today to get in. lol

Anyway, are all fans this bad? Or have the pats fans been spoiled so much these last few years that they have become ridicilous.

 Typical pats fan uh

Success breeds bandwagon fans, no doubt about it. Win 3 out of 4 SBs, and the Fins might have some bandwagon fans to be annoyed at as well. :(

And no, not all Pats' fans are that bad.

A win is a WIN...I could care less if Brady only played part of the game, or they sat out a lot of starters. I hope the Jaguars rip the Pats a new one next week.

I was at the game today. Bottom line, we took the ball down the field for a TD vs the Pats starting defense, who have dominated everyone lately. Yeah it was close at the end but we played a soft zone, outgained NE 379 to 259 and had TOP 40 - 20 minutes. I belive we would had given NE a game regardless of who played.

I was at the game today, and on the ride home I was listening to Sports Radio 850 WEEI. My personal favorite comment among the laundry list of excuses was, "the Patriots didn't want to win that game."

Yeah, those backups really didn't want to make an impression or anything. They played to lose that game..

Beating the Patriots (anytime) but especially in Foxboro is sooooo sweet. And I don't give a **** if it's against 7th stringers.

Oh yeah how could I forget, hey Larry Izzo here's a big **** you from Dolphin Nation. You were stellar out there on defense.

It took two bogus penalties to even make the game that close: the holding on Jeno James during RW's TD run, and that BS roughing the passer against JT on the INT thrown into the endzone in the last two minutes. Otherwise, it's 32-20, a score more indicative of how close the game actually was.

I don't like to rag on penalties, but in a game where we win, I think it's OK. We lose, I keep my mouth shut and don't whine about them.
But those two were nit-picky calls.

If the Pats wanted to have the best chance to win the game, they wouldn't have tried the Flutie dropkick, which if missed, would've put them down by 9 after the Fins kicked the FG towards the end of the game. Belichick gets the best of both worlds here I guess, 1) he draws an easier 1st-round opponent in the Jags, and 2) he belittle's the Fins efforts by pretty much stating, "We're not even taking this game seriously." :billfan:

I don't believe any of the Pats players played to lose. The non-active Pats starters, pulling the 1st string early in the 2nd quarter, dumbing-down the playbook, Flutie's kick, and maybe even Cassell's 2-point "attempt" all point to Belichick not exactly trying to WIN this game though either.

Izzo's not paid to play 1st-string defense. He's paid to captain special teams and as a warm body on 3rd string D. The only time he gets in on D is when the game becomes meaningless. Great victory; I'm sure the Pats are thinking about the 2006 Fins right now.

Yeah a real easy first round opponent. They have the best Defensive line in football, and they are flat out better then the Steelers. Combine that with the fact that the Patriots have played extremely poor football against teams with winning records, and the sudden arrogance of Patriot fans about walking all over Jacksonville is asinine.

As far as Izzo, the guy is a piece of ****. I don't care what he was signed to do he looked lost out there, and for someone who talks as much trash as that loser does, it was really a great thing.

I was at the game, Cassel missed the 2 point conversion and lost the game because he was still so shook up from getting ROCKED in the endzone. The Flutie drop kick told me that New England are the biggest group of jackasses ever to play the game. You have an unbelievable kicker best in the league and you bring in this little maggot flutie to do some stupid play. Go back to canada you stupid ugly man.

And also NEW ENGLAND SUPPORTERS--- We rocked the "STARTERS" last year, we are more than capable of beating any stupid new england team you throw at us so suck that.
