Just to raise some discussion:

The Patriots have won their last 8 games coming off a bye week..

However, 4 of their last 5 games after a BYE was against the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills haven't been all that good lately.. The Patriots have owned the Bills whether it was coming off a bye week or not.... the Bills have lost 9 in a row against the Pats, with 4 of those losses after a NE bye week.

So that's some food for thought.

And on another note-- there is no team in the division that has played the Patriots better than the Dolphins.. Miami is 8-10 against the Patriots during this decade.. And Miami has beaten the Pats in 4 of the last 5 seasons (the only time the Pats have swept the Dolphins over the last 5 years was during Miami's miserable 1-15 season in 2007).

I truly believe this game is a huge indicator of whether or not we'll make a run to try and get a playoff berth. If we win, that'd put as at 4-0 in the division, and with several easy games left on the schedule.

if we win this game, i guarentee playoffs. we would be 4-4 , 4-0 in division play, and have all the momentum in the world being able to go into the meadowlands and foxboro against 2 hates rivals and win. we would be a team to wreckon with the rest of the year and teams with fear us. i honestly dont fear any team in the nfl and i think we can beat any team in the nfl if we played them today.

We need a split against NE no matter what, winning this one takes alot of pressure off the 2nd game but throws a tonne of it their way.

yeah this game is huge....i think maybe we could have been looking forward to that game some in the Jest going into their house is a big deal and it may have had our guys distracted.

I will say this if Henne plays a good game i dont mean blow them out of the water just a good game he will prob tear up the last half of the season considering how much lighter our schedule seems to be.

Lets see if we have any new wrinkles on O...and lets see if PP can bring it the whole game had the hottest QB on the planet tripping over himself he needs to do it for 4 quaters. And on O lets see if Henne can see Ginn behind the DB's and get it to him over the top.

Regardless of what happens this team will be in it and now that Henne has his feet wet on the road lets hope he has the boost from 1st to 2nd game that he did from the Bills to the Jest

Henne will be amped and prepared for this one because when he was at Michigan he studied Brady's tapes more than anyone.

Henne really looked up to Brady (a former Michigan QB) while he was at Michigan.

So Henne I am sure will do his best knowing he will be facing Brady for the first time in his NFL career..

I feel really confident the the Phins can go into NE and pull what most will consider an upset. I was very concerened about the emotional toll the Saints game might have played on them but the win and sweep of the Jets was huge. No doubt Sparano will have them ready.

I certainly hope we continue seeing Wilson and Clemens in the secondary. It seemed to work fairly well against the Jets.

Two good points man....the emotional letdown PLUS possible overlooking the Jets due to a huge game with the Pats might have had our guy just off last week.

and to the wilson and clemons i hope i see that too i mean all of our young guys get alot better after a week or so with the 1st team.....look for Clemons to be around the ball alot and Vontae might be primed for another play...what is it a FF or an INT who knows this guy can do it all.

After the Preseason, I will admit i was not thrilled about the Vontae Davis pick, but I gotta tell ya, I'm loving it right now. This dude looks like the real deal.

Funny i did the exact same research this morning. Strange that the bills got so many 'pats after a bye' games.

I'm not sure how studying brady will help henne. They both play offense...

I would hope henne tried his best vs every team...

Crazy how we always seem to split with the Patsies despite them being absolute aces this decade.

this is the game were we see is henne has it or not
