New England Patriots Fined for Bengals' Sideline Recording

Whats messed up is they will probably have like 3 or 4 3rd round picks from the compensatory system lol. I wish they would of taken a higher pick, considering this is not the first time they do this.

Agreed, it’s like the year they lost their 1st rounder but had the Raiders so it didn’t even matter because the league didn’t take the higher one
 
‘Patriots docked third-round pick, fined $1.1M for filming Bengals sideline. They need to be kicked out of the league for 1 year minimum. 5 years max. It’s disgusting what is being allowed to happen there over the years. Tom Brady is no longer there. Bill, well look at Cleveland and Baltimore when he didn’t have him. New England needs to go. Flat out simple you expletive ass Rodger Goodell. We all see it, finally admit to it. Your ride is over. Or fine $100 million to prove a point and maybe. You don’t have the balls to do that though, do you????????? Already thought not as we all do.

Fining them and docking them a third rounder is meaningless. How about, 25% cap space because of a repeat offense?

Because they are the Patriots the league won't do it...and the Patriots, know it.

Anyway, its disappointing.
 
The fines, like everything else with NE was done with Kraft's permission. Goodell could have done much more especially since this is a trend with the Cheatriots. One thing here, one step over the line there, and it's all manageable on individual scales, however if Goodell would look at the totality of Kraft and Belichick's scheming, he should be throwing the book at 'em.
 
The league has their hands tied since there are 32 owners that have to approve of the punishment for the the team. The league bylaws dictate what they can and can't do.

Did not help them when a 4 win Dolphin team kicked their butt at their house to end the regular season last year for their 5th win :)

I don’t get it, Spygate cost them a 1st rd pick. They get caught taping again, 3rd rounder??? Shouldn’t it be multiple picks for a repeat offender. Shows the league doesn’t care since they’ll probably have 2 3rd rd comp picks anyway
