After last nights new loss ESPN's 1-10 Skip Bayless Calls the New England Patriots "Beatable and Ordinary" and his entire staff Agrees! And just as importantly after watching the Game so should you!

It's only one game... I don't think we suck after one game, so I'm not gonna start calling New England "ordinary" until they play like they did last night about 3 or 4 more times.

That's the perfect reply and I wish others saw it the same way:up:

their D will be ordinary. their O will be scary if brady has fully recovered - physically and mentally.

Bayless said it... they're gonna pllay like world-beaters next week. :(

Most likely... the thing you should be happy about is that they didn't lose- if they did, you would be dealing with one pissed off football team. It'll be hard enough for the Jets to beat them as it is.

I would agree with that thought process if the Pats played great and coasted to a win but the thing is they played like crap... and Belichick is going to make sure and remind them of that fact all week.

Honestly it doesn't really matter. Both teams are going to be fired up and ready to play on Sunday. Hopefully we can take advantage of those holes in the Pats D that Buffalo exposed last night and rattle Brady around a bit. Matt Light looked like the weak spot on their OL, I expect a lot of heavy blitzes to the left of their formations.

If only everyone else on this board followed that logic.

I see lots of potential for that:

NE at NYJ
ATL At NE
Baltimore At NE
Ten at NE
Mia at NE
NE at Indy
NYJ at NE
NE at NO
NE at Miami

I do wonder how long Brady can hold up with all those 3 yd passes.

He took what the Bills gave them. If he hadn't been so rusty / anxious in the 1st half, he could have had 500yds instead of 380.

I expect him to get more comfortable and become more what we're used to over the next 3 wks. I'm almost hoping the Jets send the house over and over again. He needs to get past any anxiety he may have and get in the groove again.

The OL or specifiacally Light is scaring me more than any individual opponent. Hope Vollmer can replace him anytime they face a decent speed guy, otherwise he'll get Brady killed.

The more pressing problem NE has is their defense, now that Mayo is out for a extended period, a very shaky defense is that much weaker. NE reminds me this year of the Dolphin teams under Marino great offense bad defense. Your defense is going to cost you games this year, Brady and company will be involved in shootouts almost weekly.
Bills Oline had little problem with your pass rush the other night and their Oline is their weak link with 3 rookies on the line.

Mayo is out? Hadn't heard about this. If true the Patriots have to be very worried about an already suspect defense. I agree with Tailgater, Light looked bad Monday. The O-Line as a whole didn't look to great. And history has shown, when Brady is under alot of defensive pressure, he makes some bad decisions.
