Has anyone noticed that the phins keep alot of there game plan a surprise until gameday? The panther game alot of people expected the phins to use alot of pat white or ted ginn reverse from wildcat. What if were saving the best for when it counts i.e. Pat white, teddy ginn and the recent story of kory sheets taking wildcat snaps. I sense a different offense in these coming weeks especially if there making a playoff push.
Thoughts?

well, maybe but you could also make an argument that returning to basics worked pretty well against Carolina.

Honestly, I'm not sure what surpises we could bring with Pat White. Running out of the shotgun/Pistol formation wont surpise the Pats and he hasn't shown that he's accurate with the pass so what's left?

I am a bit surpised that we haven't seen Sheets yet. I'm sure he's still learning the offense but I could see a Cobbs like role for him. Sneek him in at RB or receiver and get him the ball in space.

A lot of people here thought we might see a lot of Pat White and Teddy. I'm betting the Panthers gameplanned for us running a base offense quite a bit. We did, and executed very well.

What has Pat White shown this year to get a expanded role?

Finally MIA is getting back to basics and letting Henne run this team. NO more rhythm breakers in game....Henne's team, Henne's time.

I'd be surprised to see Sheets on the field. The whole reason the Phins went with the wildcat was to get Ronnie and Ricky on the field at the same time. In other words their 2 best offensive players. Not sure White or Sheets offer much of a threat if Ricky and Ronnie aren't out there forcing the defense to key on them.

I agree that the base offense can only benefit Henne, but knowing the coaching staff hasn't yet shelved the wildcat wouldn't you expect something different from Pat white or maybe a little more freedom to throw? or even Kory Sheets or Lex Hilliard having a bigger role within it?

No more Pistol crap. Let Henne run things 100% of the time. White sucks.

Carolina had the 25th ranked run defense in the league, and we are 1 long run away from looking pretty bad in standard runformations Thursday night against that 25th ranked run D.

Teams are really preparing for the trickery by teaching and emphasizing sticking to your assignments. Teams are prepared for our trickery so now if we smashmouth they will be a little more conservative and we will be more effective.

I think you didnt see alot of wildcat vs CAR because it was a short week and we lost RB23, so dont be suprised if you see pat white or even Joe Berger run the wild-burg!!

speaking of this game, when will it be confirmed if it will stay on sunday night or not?
