Hey, so who are some of the new faces on the Heat this year? I havent really followed the offseason... so I am just looking for some info on these new guys. I saw the preseason game vs. the Rockets. Who is this white guy named Quinn? He actually looked pretty solid bringing the ball up the court. What about some of the other guys I didnt recognize?

Also, how is Wright doing this offseason and preseason? Has he looked good? Does it seem like he will be getting some significant minutes?

Oh, and I see Walker still blows...

This Quinn guy is named Chris Quinn from Notre Dame.

One of the nation's and BIG EAST's top point guards, became the seventh player in the history of the Notre Dame men's basketball program to earn Academic All-America honors when he was named to the 2006 ESPN The Magazine Men's Basketball University Division Academic All-America First Team. His selection marks the 11th time a Notre Dame player has been selected for the honor, but Quinn is the first Irish men's basketball All-American since Pat Garrity - currently a member of the NBA's Orlando Magic - earned the honor in both 1997 and `98.
A marketing major in the Mendoza College of Business, the 6-2 guard owns a 3.24 overall grade point average. He had his highest grade index in the fall of 2005 when he finished with a 3.833.

His name's Hite, just to point it out.

Quinn and Hite is good streak shooters...Quinn has a good handle on the ball..Hite improving his ball handling..I think both can play

Hite is also a good defender..hes solid..Quinn plays ok defense, but it looks like Pat will have him to work at it

I like both guys and I think both will get some time in while Dorell and J-Will recover from their injuries

Quinn is a very good PG, and will probably continue getting major minutes when J-Will comes back. He was a great player for ND that got overlooked because of the team's lack of success. Though I will say I think the Heat released a PG who is better than Quinn (Daniel Horton).

Hite has been a lock to make the Heat for a couple weeks now. Riley compared him to Eddie House, but with better accuracy. He's going to get a chance to get major minutes as well.

The guy the Heat just cut (Vincent Grier) will not be a FA long. He's a great perimeter defender, and definatly earned a look. He'll probably lacth on with a team in need of defense (Phoenix, Minny, G State).

This rookie class doesn't have the star power past classes had, but this class was very deep. There are a lot of 2nd round picks and UDFA's in the league now that will make their team's rotation.
