Well we didn't see 0-3 coming did we?:boohoo::boohoo::crazy::crazy:

The new poll on the front page this week is:

"How do you think Henne will do?"

Post your vote and come back here to explain your answer. See if the other fans agree with you.

If we're talking about the short term, Henne will probably struggle. In the long run, I trust that the Trifecta will give him a good enough supporting cast for him to become a solid starter. I don't think he'll ever be Peyton Manning; rather, he looks more like Eli. I'd be fine with an Eli Manning type of QB. He's a good game manager and can step up in pressure situations. That's all we need for a physical run first style of offense we want to become.

I think we will run alot next week and let him get a feel for reading defenses and just being out there running the offense. He looked shaky but hopefully he goes into the game confident and with a different mentality and takes a different approach. I would love for Henne to do great but i can definately see him struggling.

Hard to tell yet. He had some tough breaks today. Ted Ginn was his target on a couple of passes, that makes it tough. He also has a total moron calling plays for him. That hurts. When I think of Dan Henning I think of the old men on South Park who go to the country kitchen buffet and always go "huh" or "eh". Moron. Henne also did some stupid **** on his own. Time will tell.

One thing I do already know is that he certainly isnt as good as Matt Ryan. Neither is Jake Long. I would trade the pair of them for Matt Ryan....wouldnt you? Yea. You would and you know it.

I expect Henne to look much better with a week of full practice with the starters and a game plan more suited to his game.

Week 4, 175 yds, 1 td 2 int. He will do ok, hopefully penny did not rub off on him so much that he plays like him. Take some shots, hes got the arm. I hope Henning does not restrict or handicap him, which I believe he will do come week 4-5. We can't afford that, we couldnt afford starting 0-2, much less 0-3, but **** happens and that ball hasn't bounced our way, nor have we played to earn it. I expect him to having growing pains but I hope we see some rocket passes and deep balls, but I hope Pat white will spell him somewhat because I think White will be our future. Yea I know im crazy for saying that.

I said it before and I'll say it again...it doesn't matter who the QB is...unless you get some receivers that can play.

imo i would activate pat turner and let him ginn and hartline with a lil bess and cam rotate and see what henne can do now that we can throw deep imo if we use a spread it will open up our running game even more cause teams wont be stacking the line on us :foundout:

I am hopeful that he will light it up. I see White in the picture a lot more than before- joing Henne on passing/running plays (wildcat).

I am and always will be a huge pennington supporter I just like him as a player and person. I am a true dolphins fan though and I already feel the love for henne that's the QB of my team and I'm behind him and I believe he will light things up. He knows he needs to seize this oppurtunity. And his arm is real strong. I think its time to end all the fighting here on finheven and get behind our team. This is the time to come together not split apart. I look for r and r to run amock in the wildcat and to get more of pat white in the spread. This entire team needs to come together and find ways to win like last year.

Pennington was fantastic last year. He was more than could be asked for in leadership and showing Henne the ropes. Truth is this was a blessing from the standpoint that we need to find out if Henne has it or not. I think he will do very well and it may take time to see just how well. Point is if Pennington played all year we go into the draft and still are wondering who is our future. We will have that answer by seasons end now. Be patient people it is not Danny boy coming in.

You need to add Ted Ginn to your sig.
