I noticed the black hole and am reviving my petition for a 'old timers' board.
It would help to cut out the crap and hopefully be a great forum where we can just hide out from time to time where everyone posts (hopefully) long topics with a lot of thought in.
Would carry a 6 month old registration date, a minimum number of posts and of course a minimum payment to help keep the forums up and running (hope you kept a log of all the past users who donated). I would donate $40 cdn myself to that cause.
Also as a suggestion even a membership vote could take place to weed out the occasional bad seed who would meet those original requirements (*coughdolphin2002cough*). Like 90% vote approval of the members to get in.
